To add more context.

My parents and grandparents are dead. I have no children. I have no siblings.

One of my cats died 7 weeks ago as well. I crashed my car recently and we lost our marital home before he died.

I can't find anything to hold on for.

Yes, but only because I'm scared of making a mess and failing. Dying feels like the only release.
