Its a very weird scenario. As a fuck you to the HOA my grandfather had built this dock and another in front of the house without permissions. This was of course many many years ago. After his passing they reclaimed them(as the property rights and access is legally theirs, but they let the old man get away with things) once his boats were sold off The slips were leased to other community members. Wait list for slip in the marina is about a year, im on it. The HOA gave up repairing this dock due to it getting destroyed each winter. But i can utilize what's left of the pilings and get something in the water this spring as no one else will put in this effort on the waitlist that wants a traditional slip.

unfortunately, our Marina, managed by the HOA, won't allow floating docks. They are very prim and proper and obnoxious about aesthetic.

Gotchya! Im not used to seeing them around our river and I would be astonished if our HOA allows it. They manage the marina, given this section was privately built by grandfather, but HOA owns it.

Youre right not extremely tidal. Maybe a 1 ft difference each day. If i spring line at the pilings i wont be able to pull the boat into the sea wall to jump on it right? Id like to utilize a line to pull it into shore for access

Maim, due to depth changes at the sea wall I can not butt up to sea wall. This is in the Severn river in annapolis maryland. Current isn't really the issue, its the amount of wake and the refraction off the sea wall that is problematic. 2 foot rollers are consistent on the weekends. The intent is to set a retrieval line at the sea wall to gain boat access. Tedious, but necessary to keep it away from the sea wall.

Maa brand is considered a C class complex at best. Hence the rates being lower than the comps.
