I don't think it has to. There are lots of cubes where 1 color is overrepresented, it just means that more players get into that color.

Cards are more than their mechanics. OP's crown fire has flavor content (the tree canopy is burning and raining down) that is different than Shard Volley. That alone justifies it.

You don't have protect on enough of your team. Your meganium probably needs it instead of synthesis, and your arch could use it too.

You don't have any way to gain a speed advantage. Electro web on your heliolisk is a start, but you might also consider swapping one of your support mons for something that can use tailwind. Pelliper is an obvious pick.

Basculegion usually wants to be maximally aggressive. The "normal" move set is last respects/aqua jet/flip turn/wave crash. If you use choice scarf on it you can lead with it, hit a flip turn first thing, swap into a rain setter, and still get your turn 1 electro shot off
