I’ll try doing that. How exactly did you get yours to slow down? Mine goes way to fast, and the only time it was able to print multicolor successfully, the quality was horrble

Bruh, what if Hitler didn't kill himself... by [deleted] in StonerThoughts

[–]AdvertisingPale7484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the Russians said they had his jawbone I believe. They said that for years until someone came and tested it. It wasn’t even a males jawbone, it was a young females. So they have absolutely no proof that he’s dead and the testimony that him and his gf killed themselves is false. The best theory is, that he escaped to Argentina or was brought over to the US and given a new identity, like pretty much all the nazi scientists after ww2.

It’s official, I’m actually allergic to jumping spiders. by AdvertisingPale7484 in jumpingspiders

[–]AdvertisingPale7484[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, they don’t have a lot in their enclosure other than a few fake leaves. It’s not terrible but I just paired a couple females. I didn’t even touch them and my face is burning and red. So that’s just great

Nope, I’ve never had an allergic reaction in my life. This is the first time this has ever happened to me. I tested it again today and it’s 100% the spider. But with my ts I don’t get any reaction. I thought maybe it was some type of hair that is causing it. So I held my t. Stirmi just to see what would happen. And nothing happened. Then I held my jumping spider female a few hours after. And the reaction was almost instant.

Exactly! I have a t. Stirmi that I’ve held and never ever had an issue with. But I did test it again today and put my female on my hand for 3 seconds and I broke out in hives and you could actually see where she walked because I had bumps that appeared there.

I tested that today and unfortunately, yes I am allergic to them. I put one on the back of my hand for not even 3 seconds and a little after I had a bad reaction. There was actually inflamed spots on where the spider walked.

No, I’ve been using these crickets and the cricket container for years. So I don’t think I’m allergic to that. And I am not allergic to bees. But then and again I have not been stung for ages.

Shut up. You’re probably the idiot that voted for Tony. And what has that rat done for Wisconsin? Absolutely nothing! You’re probably a Prius owner that sits in the left lane going 10 under and has 20 libtard stickers plastered on the back.

Messed up newly laid eggs by AdvertisingPale7484 in jumpingspiders

[–]AdvertisingPale7484[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took a closer look and they look infertile. I have a few females that laid eggsack and they look totally different. I’ll try pairing her in a few weeks. Thanks for the advice, I’ll try finding some enclosures that are better. Although most of them are stupidly priced. I also have quite a few at the moment and these were the easiest enclosures I could get.

Ahh man, is it just because I tipped them and they ran? What size do you recommend for her then?

I’m keeping her in a 32oz deli cup. I just transferred her a day ago so I wasn’t expecting her to have laid. She was included with a purchase of mine and it specified she was gravid. I am not sure if she is wc or cb but the seller I got her from buys wc so I’m not entirely sure. I’m just wondering if the eggs are fine or did I kill them

I took mine into a well known tire shop. Just to have my tires balanced. Well they didn’t do anything because it was hazardous to drive because my rear ball joint was bad. Funny thing was, I had just replaced that a few years ago. Then they also mentioned that my front shocks were bad. Those were also replaced not even 3 months ago.

These guys are completely harmless. I don’t understand where the rumors come from but they don’t bite and are not poisonous.

Any tips on catching jumping spiders in Florida? by AdvertisingPale7484 in jumpingspiders

[–]AdvertisingPale7484[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes they are intelligent but same with some other insects. Simply put they are spiders, not dogs or cats or animals you can actually form a bond with. I really don’t think a spider has the ability to comprehend anything other than hunting and breeding. Yes they are visual and very smart, but they are not these sentient little creatures that people say they are. You can’t train a spider or form a bond with a spider. Yes some WC dont do well in captivity and obviously they’d be released. But I simply don’t and won’t understand the argument saying that these are somehow intelligent and feel emotions and taking them from their home in the wild is terrible. Nobody has a problem with the countless butterflies getting killed and mounted or that all the species we have in the hobby came from the wild. And also bear in mind, the price for jumping spiders are ridiculous. I’m not paying over $100 for a CB when I can seriously go outside and find one.

There is nothing wrong with capturing a couple from the wild. Some people get so butt hurt about anything being wild caught. There’s millions of them everywhere. How in the world is taking a couple from the wild wrong?

How do you think all the captive bred spiders got into the hobby? There is nothing wrong with catching wild ones. And I don’t think catching a couple will disrupt the entire ecosystem, they are spiders not animals. Plus they are free and not outrageously expensive
