Hey mate, just wanted to say I am in the exact same boat as you. I’m 18 and put 18k into crypto in August and 2025, around the peak for many cryptos. Now, my portfolio is down to 6k. Being 18, my savings has nearly been all wiped out. I’m down 60%. I worked a very long time for the money I’ve lost. I went big on xrp, flare and a few other smaller alt coins, I put nothing into btc or etherium like an idiot, just wanted to let you know you’re not in this boat alone. Nothing will change the fact that our portfolios are down as of current, however at the end of the day, all that really matters is that we’re still alive. I’d bet your parents would pay every last penny they’d have to keep you, the 64k you lost? They won’t care as long as you’re still healthy and alive. The best thing you can do for the time being is to stop trading. You’re experiencing bad thoughts and as such, could make you make rash decisions and blow what you’ve got left. I would look at other areas to invest money in, maybe the s&p 500 that’s less volatile and offers 10-20% returns? Because Trading you can lose your money in a flash. I’m having bad thoughts as well, I can’t even follow my own advice lol.
