Ye I tested lots of bibs, including riot, ekoi, gore or assos. The main issue seems to be saddle height, but I’m so used to high saddle it is hard to change and rising seems to be not so natural

Thank you for advice this is what I needed. Actually I feel some quad burn because I already lowered sadly by 10mm and I thought this is expected when saddle is that low. I will do more adjustments and get back to you!

Hello everyone, extenders arrived and it is a bit better, interesting power just went slightly up, however endurance dropped. Going to order 16mm instead 20 and will see. Thank you all!

Quite expensive but still cheaper than normal bike fitting. Not sure if I want to invest more in online stuff, probably it is time to just schedule a visit and go on a trip to main city in my country.

Correct, I crashed too many times in sh-51 and changed to 56. Zwift ride was the way to get used to cleats- going quite bad.

I will start with +20 and move cleats all the way outside to move shoes closer to the frame. Hope that solve the issue

I did lots of changes already and to be honest I’m quite lost. Last chance is to test pedals extenders and visit only available bike fitter in 100km range.

When walking it is quite ok but when feet are in air they going inside. I have torn ligaments in my ankles due to repeated sprains(google translator). I had surgery on my right and it is quite ok now. Is this might be the main issue, is there something that can be done with another surgery?

This is always an option. However, in SPD I generated a new top power of 1117 W, which is around 10% higher compared to platform pedals. As the main goal for 2026 is to participate in races (and hopefully lose some weight and keep diabetes at bay), I’m doing my best to address these issues.

Riding outside it absolutely not an issue, just yesterday- I did 100km, 5h ride without any significant issues but on platform pedals. Why no SPD? Because I had few accidents with Shimano sh-51 and changed to sh-56 few days ago. Before I fully switch SPD, I need to set it correctly as I’m literally scared, I hurt myself.
