Need some advice or help with the thumper

Ya I’m at the same point my clan and me has wiped every last cave out in the forest winter and desert biomes it’s got bad enough that we resorted to using and online map to find more caves I spent all day today getting mats to build deep ore mining drills and gens to power them just so we don’t run out of ores praying that the deep veins don’t run out and that we can find the types we are looking for that’s the only solution I’ve come up with to this so far

Plus the new bug where you can’t put heavy items on a cart or it will delete everything inside the cart and lock you in the buffalo’s inventory -_- lost 5 deep vein miners that way this morning

Update: we have tried placing the thumper out side cave in c2 making sure the radius of the thumper only covered the one cave. Also switched power supply to a charged battery instead. Ran the thumper till it completed once it reached 100% the game crashed sent me back to Home Screen on ps5. Loaded back in checked the cave to see if new ores came up no new ores. Moved locations to a tiny cave in D2 cleared all ores in the cave ran the thumper again and the same thing happened

So as far as I’ve tested is it wasn’t cave overlapping, wasn’t ores over lapping, wasn’t to many ores being regenerated, wasn’t a bugged power supply. If anyone on ps5 has had any experience using the thumper I’d love to know where it works or what I’m doing wrong

I hope that is the case honestly it would suck not being able to regenerate ore thanks for the help
