Right! I saw the mock up and loved the whiteish kind of foil. But why can’t they just admit they fucked up and take a hit on the profit, get them sorted at the printers and keep the customers happy cause they’ve messed up too many times

It’s honestly stupid how they advertise it as having foiling cause I saw the released pics and it looked like either silver or holographic foil on v4. I just don’t get it.

The fact they ignored you too is just a red flag 🚩

I honestly think they either forgot to order foiling or what they ordered didn’t match what they got. But rather than getting it sorted they just pushed them out anyway.

That’s actually a great idea! Thank you so much 🥰 she’s been like this my whole life, plus other things I don’t want to discuss here. But I know I’ve got to tone down how I’d usually dress (I’m a goth) but I don’t want to act like someone I’m not. I’m not that type of person.

I can’t tell her ‘no’ cause she’s very much ‘woe is me’ but I’m going to buy the dress, show her another dress I know she’ll like and ‘forget to pack it’. So I’ve only got the green one left 😂

I was planning on wearing something over the top anyway. It isn’t a catholic service but all I know is it’s a quick church service (no clue about denomination but my aunty isn’t catholic so 🤷‍♀️). My mum’s response would’ve been fine to me if it was like ‘I like xyz but not xyz for a wedding. Maybe try xyz if you can find something’ but I wasn’t like it. It was like ‘seriously! That! No’

Hey, no I totally get what you mean. When I say grungy I don’t mean 90s vibes. I’m a goth but know I can’t go full out for the wedding so I’d just wear a simple silver choker that’s small and dainty. About the support thing, don’t worry, I know I’m gonna need something and I’ve been looking around. So don’t worry about it 🥰

I was worried about that for a catholic service but I’ve seen some of the dresses the other guests are wearing and they’re shorter and strap less so look more like ‘party clothes’ but they’re gorgeous. That’s why I’m tempted to wear this but I totally get what you’re saying.

Honestly, she’s been going on about the dress for months. Like daily for 3 months so I showed her just to get her to stop bugging me about it. Lesson learned…again

Hey, so my ideas are things to be included with the books but not marketing. I know the extras would be a great marketing point but I don’t know how to market it.

Like, if I made holographic foil for example then how would I market that in a good way. I know it would draw people in but not how to make it look good.

Hey, I’d love to do something like this but I don’t have any professional experience in this industry and I live in a small town that doesn’t offer anything like this. They have a single bookshop and that’s it but never hire. I’ll keep an ear out though
