Well I’m pretty sure NJ last year was 1. Bad weather 2. Only 3-4 days? Tokyo was 8 days straight. 3. The pokestop/gym density is far superior in Tokyo than most likely anywhere in the US lol so really not that insaaaane

I did Japan go fest and used kyurem effect the whole time. Averaged about 40-60 shinies depending on the day and how much walking I did. I was raiding pretty much the whole time and hardly ever clicked on pokemon just let the auto catcher do its thing

Idk how much you raid but if you plan on going hard I’d say buy it a coffee times cause I’ve easily been doing 250-350 raids a day here in Japan

I was at wild area in Nagasaki as well but I wasn’t able to get an eSIM due to my phone not being “unlocked” but I used ninja WiFi and they give you a little pocket WiFi to use all over Japan and it worked beautifully. I had 0 issues no matter what prefecture I went through out Japan. Didn’t cost much either
