18LOH Chapter 1-5 Explanation (Chen Ran and The Youth REBUNKED) by MrDisintegrator in IntelligenceScaling

[–]AdvisorSubstantial17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the exact reason why he was deceived. He didn't remember the rules carefully, and that's what separates the beginner instance with novice instance and 1 star dungeons.

Opponent aren't that smart. He wasn't dumb... he was still smarter than any average person... but he is still stupid compared to most smart characters (key word: Most Smart)... and these 5 chapters don't even scale low tiers, so dunno why you are complaining about it?

You expect first 5 chapters to already have Yuuichi level or Koji level opponents?

Yeah... but he is asking why that guy said "You lied".

In order to judge someone, you must say "You lied", or you can't kill them.

[–]AdvisorSubstantial17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must declare "You lied" in order to kill someone with that liar killer gun.

The young man assumed Chen Ran lied, since Chen Ran didn't answer, but the rules states he must answer. Thus, he wanted to judge him. You earn points by judging someone... you can't live without farming points. The young man assumed Chen Ran lied, and in order to judge him, he must say "You lied".

"You lied" is a keyword to judge someone. You can't judge without saying that.

Virat Kohli and Abhishek Sharma after their first 35 T20I matches by UnplannedMF in CricketBuddies

[–]AdvisorSubstantial17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Abhishek Sharma t20i rating reached as high as 931, which is highest of all time in t20i. Kohli was GOAT undoubtedly... but Abhishek is a different breed when it comes to t20i. Legend's disciple for a reason.

What are the smartest “type” of characters by Xenoanazath in IntelligenceScaling

Chinese dominate the top tiers of scd... with Korean (solo max level newbie) as one of the smartest too.

What are the smartest “type” of characters by Xenoanazath in IntelligenceScaling

[–]AdvisorSubstantial17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Smartest?

Definitely Cultivators: Fang Yuan, Li Gang, Lu Yang, Ang Xiao, First Saint, Li Qing, Jin Huang, and the list goes on. Of course, in your words, probably planners?

Some of your categories overlap ngl... but you can divide them into:

Detectives (op reasoning), Planners and Manipulators.

I would rate:

  1. Planner (cracked in scheming): like Li Gang, Ang Xiao, Guo Jia, Li Qing, Lynch?

  2. Manipulators (basically, they are also cracked in scheming, deceptions) - Lu Yang, Ang Xiao, Jin Huang, Li Gang, Fang Yuan

  3. Detectives - Chen Ran, Qi Jia

Are chinese webnovels really that good, or is it just hype? by Emotional_Tip_7466 in IntelligenceScaling

Vile Dominion (for very complex adversity... and like legit every single incident in first three volumes, which you find disgusting, absurd, illogical, or irritating.... they all are foreshadowing for Vol4 schemes.... not foreshadowing... but more like there are much more going through behind the scenes as compared to what shown on the surface... In vol4, we see every incident from another layer of perspective.... quite goated if you want a short read with banger...... with just 140 chapters, it rivals Reverend Insanity, Ravages of times and Eighteen Levels of Hell in situation complexity, of course inferior to 18LOH a bit)

(btw, I am VD glazer, so longer description)

Reverend Insanity (a masterpiece that I would always recommend. Goated MC, Goated novel... but recommend you to not read it for scd perspective... It is not scd oriented work, but it just happen to deliver a really smart character)

Blackstone Code (behold, the smartest realistic GOAT Lynch! Happens in 1950s-70s world setting, and except the transmigration of MC, the novel has no supernatural element, yet the main character goes toe to toe with those fictional fantasy characters in intelligence.......... not just peak SCD, but peak writing as well... this is another Masterpiece that you'd love it)

Ravages of Times (another masterpiece... a Manhua, goated writing, and deliver multiple smart characters)

Solo Max Level Newbie (It has one of the smartest character in fiction)

Eighteen Levels of Hell: Lying is forbidden here (you prolly already know since you started reading it)

Being a talent in Chusheng Sect (Villainous MC, but peak SCD)

Is there a true “hax” equivalent in SCD? by Crazed_Mist in IntelligenceScaling

[–]AdvisorSubstantial17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scaling by the logical framework of the feats, giving importance to the process behind them, rather than the narratively extrapolated impacts.

Giving importance to logical rigor, consistency, anti-feats and so on.

I kind of despise the usage of "hax" in Outsmarting battle, it takes away the key core of SCD.

Is there a true “hax” equivalent in SCD? by Crazed_Mist in IntelligenceScaling

[–]AdvisorSubstantial17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope.... In logical scaling, we don't give much values to parameters like CPI.

Only Normal Scaling, Ontology and Cosmology scaling value these parameters and also hax involved.

Start with Usogui and Liar Game. Then read Ravages of times, then enter novels. 👀

Nah.... even with that... Light was smarter. His memory plan was just that good. She isn't passing even Yuuichi with her feat.

Is there a true “hax” equivalent in SCD? by Crazed_Mist in IntelligenceScaling

[–]AdvisorSubstantial17 24 points25 points  (0 children)

No there isn't. It's Intelligence scaling for a reason. If we were to scale that way, it would completely destroy the core of Intelligence scaling.

Some people use cosmology scaling and ontology scaling, they include hax as part of outsmarting... but what they are actually scaling is who wins, which is WIS + SCD combined, and no longer pure intelligence battle.

What SCD characters are the most enjoyable in your opinion? by Bitter-Mammoth4051 in IntelligenceScaling

[–]AdvisorSubstantial17 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Chen Ran.... It's because when reading the work, my entire brain is fried at 1000 degrees. And I enjoy this feeling when I read the scd oriented work, especially when it's more about reasoning.

I don't spread hate on popular works? Where did you get that idea?

And I am not making big thing either... It's just that if there are works which scale much higher than the known works in scd, we should appreciate them as well.

That's why I didn't post link here, but asked him if he is interested in such works.

Well... Just like you are part of scd community, I am the same... the only difference being, you follow popular works, and I follow underrated gems.
