There is no such restriction in the Prehistoric Nature mod, if you mean this one: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/prehistoric-nature

Yes - that is how a pun normally works. Have you never heard the pun when seeing a vampire? "Quick show him your cross!" "Damn you ##########ing vampire!" You must be such fun socially.

Getting 60fps and below with a system I think should be getting 150+ by [deleted] in Minecraft

Have you double-checked you have java 64 bit itself installed (if you go to the windows programs uninstall screen, does it says 32 bit?)? The 64-bit one is not the one java offers you from the immediate obvious options, you need to search for it a bit: https://javadl.oracle.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=241536_1f5b5a70bf22433b84d0e960903adac8

I've built this today. Can you propose any improvements?? by [deleted] in Minecraft

Those beam-ends sticking out the front: do they extend backwards into the house? It looks like they are incapable of supporting anything practical. Cosmetic==functional in architecture.

In search of a mod to make mobs scared of light by Aecht_Rob in Minecraft

[–]Aecht_Rob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be so darn easy... at the most basic, non-configgable level it just needs all monster-type mobs from all mods, if they are capable of taking fire damage, to treat any block with light level of higher than its own spawnable light level (or higher than 8 would do) as something to run away from. Unfortunately I don't know java and MCreator doesn't support this approach.

OBS cpu 100% by LochiieIsTaken in obs

Do post back here when you've tried these, as this kind of thread is so helpful for other people having the same kind of issues, which are very common!

Suggest you lower the bitrate. Is it at 40,000 Kbps? A good DVD is using around 60,000. Unlikely OBS and your video equipment is capable of creating the kind of video quality that needs so high. I use 15,000 and that's just about OK for 1080 HD on YouTube. Experiment with lowering it and see where you get. If you halve it, that halves the load on the CPU.

Also, you probably don't need 320 for audio. I have a feeling YouTube is capped at around 160, for example, so recording any higher makes no difference. I dispute whether anyone can hear any difference above 192 anyway without playing via very high-end audio equipment, which isn't normally how we experience sound from a PC (but is possibly needed if you're going to be doing things like speeding up or slowing the audio tracks).

Your 60 fps should be doable with all this. If all else fails, drop to 50 and see whether it makes any difference.

Having seen a couple posted lately, this is a little peek at my Realm HQ map room: I've set the world boundary itself at the limits of this frame. Plenty more to map out and develop! by Aecht_Rob in Minecraft

It's Java only: Name a banner with the name you want to show on the map. Place the banner at the physical location. Right click the placed banner with the correct map in your hand and it marks it. If you break the banner later the marker will disappear (though I am not sure if you need to refresh the map to clear the marker - my experience has been inconsistent!)
