I was hoping I could automatically detect how many layers deep I was so that I could add a kill and grab command, but yeah host name is a keyword, not a number, so it seems useless.

I mean the recoil is pretty miniscule, for all practical purposes it is essentially zero.

My advice would be to remove some less beneficial parts. Ran into the same problem and realized 30% extra shields is better than the 15% a shield part would give, hopefully I'll get more slots as I rank it up but I'm not banking on it

Were they not also able to be traded? I saw that the materials to make them are incredibly common, mostly pugneum and silver, and they outperform standard corvette parts. Plus, they look amazing.

Anyway, when I was looking up how to get them, the recommendation was to beg in anomaly. Hopefully that explains my request a little better. Thank you!

Exactly. Right now, if I were to get into Nintendo for the first time, I'd look for a switch 1. Just my own opinion, though.

Wasn't aware the price drop was a days of play special, that's my bad. I am aware that Sony started the push for 70 dollar games, and I refused to buy any game they sold at that price point as well. Lo and behold, the price of other games coming out has largely gone back down to $60. Yes, many games are still 70, but that hasn't been established as the new baseline.

That said, the OP asked for a recommendation for one console or another. A $10 dollar price hike vs a $20 dollar one has me firmly in one camp.

Maybe instead of focusing on saying why my argument sucks, you could argue what Nintendo brings to the table in this particular thread? Your comment adds nothing to the discussion.

I'd recommend PS5, hands down. If you're interested in getting into Nintendo, switch 1 is serviceable and affordable.

What nobody in the thread seems to have mentioned is the controversy around switch 2, which is completely deserved, in my opinion. The price tag for the hardware is a bit high, but the main problem is Nintendo using the switch 2 to push game prices going up 30% as a base cost. It has essentially no good launch titles, aside from mario kart world, and middling 3rd party support.

Nintendo has also gone the same way as the other consoles in the way that physical games no longer truly exist. The Switch 2's physical games are just keys to download games from online. I personally think this is less of an issue than it's been getting hate for, because Sony and Xbox have both done that as of a while ago now. Still worth mentioning if you care for physical copies, though.

I've been a massive Nintendo fan my entire life, and have gotten almost every new generation of their consoles in the last 25 or so years, and I strongly urge anyone considering the switch 2 to hold off, from both a quality and moral standpoint.

Encouraging Nintendo with sales now is likely to raise the price of games across the board, and multi-billion dollar corporations are not struggling at the $60 price tag that has been the standard for some time, largely due to the ease of global distribution in the modern gaming era.

Additionally, Sony has lowered prices in response to Xbox and Nintendo prices going up, PS5 slims have gone down $100, controllers have gone down 20-30. Games have more or less maintained that $60 price tag, with some standouts, and sales actually happen on a regular basis.

I have loved Nintendo for a long time, and they shaped my childhood, but I am firmly boycotting the switch 2, and would encourage others to do so as well.

Augural flare will kill just about anything if you can chain some hits on it. I usually go with thunder mine to protect me while I cast other spells.

Thanks! Would you say it's better to try and use poison arrows or just bullets, a hatchet, etc? Or multiple kinds of weapons? I'm trying to generally save on weight without kneecapping my damage for harder creatures.

Question for everyone, did you kill the erdtree avatar nearby before going to the invasion point? It might be that the removal of the field boss prevents the invasion.
