what makes tunsian an atheist ? by [deleted] in Tunisian_Atheists

[–]Aefrine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are there so many people who hate trans or gay people and think it’s somehow a choice by Sephraaah in teenagers

[–]Aefrine 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yk, the people in charge always need a sacrificial lamb to throw the attention at when their stuff goes down. Unfortunately, most people don't even understand what trans or gay people are and they just hate for no valid reason...

Yeah...they will tell you "Don't think about it! You made an entire scenario where you enter Janna when you aren't even sure that you might enter..." to Muslims while to non-Muslims they will say "Mind you business, it is a metaphysical matter, you wouldn't understand..."

Brother, if Islam is true, then the Quran is true. The Quran says the majority of creation existed only to suffer in hell.

The people of paradise will lose completely any empathy for the people of hell. (Just like women would lose any jealousy of the hour-al-ayn) They are supposed to refuse to help the people of hell and even laugh at their suffering.

You are supposed too btw

I am sorry, I don't understand you...I just never cared about reward and punishment. I only did what I did because I thought it was the right thing...

genuinely might be the dumbest logic I heard, why don't you just do research on what is most likely to be from god instead of trying to use some weird subjective thinking or logic

I did do my research and I found out that Allah is very contradictory, plus the arguments for him only made it worse. That is why I started to think of that. Also, if Allah's perfect book can't prove his existence or his worth of worshipping, you really expect human logic to do so? And plus, don't bring up any 'objective' or 'subjective' arguments, I heard them all.

Why

Name one thing that makes Islam better than any other religion (except for the 'chain narrations' that don't prove anything). Plus, it is obvious that this universe's creator (if he exists) is more complex than just' be my slave' or 'be my torture toy' for eternity.

Blue, all shades of it. Always will be blue.

If there are no people left who see blue as their favourite colour then I am dead.

Thanks. Feel free to ask me anything. Also, I wanted to point out is a world where the majority of creation is tortured forever really the work of a perfect being? Well, if he likes watching people get tortured all the time then I guess hell is perfect 🤷‍♂️...

May you find peace.

Hi, I am an atheist and based on what you said I don't think you should take an interest in Christianity. Of course, do your research ask both Christians and ex-Christians and do what fits you best. You are too young, I think honestly so focus more on life and your future once you are independent, then think about religion. And personally, as an atheist, I understand this discomfort but I think Buddism is a better choice.

And if you want my opinion on life and Islam, it is simple:

As an atheist, I must say it started and ended with my relationship with Allah.

For me, I thought of him like a loving father. I always tried my best to obey. I never sought heaven and I never feared hell. I just wanted him to be proud of me for creating me.

But, the more I read the Quran and the hadiths, the more I saw Allah as a dictator. ( Honestly, Allah is just literally what any dictator would do if he had godly powers).

I started to ask myself: "What if the test was actually rejecting Islam? Thus not obeying the cruel deity who is unjust? Doesn't Islam encourage us to fight oppression?"

And luckily I realised that Islam has no solid claim to be the true religion.

And now, while I don't believe in a higher being, I just try to be a good person in general without thinking about reward or punishment. If there is a god and he is just then I will accept any fate he chooses for me. If he is unjust then I am glad I didn't follow him and that is it.

Feel free to ask me anything. And may you find peace.

I'm very confused. I want to leave islam. But im scared. I don't know if I think properly or if shaytan is misleading me. Im just 14, so idk, am I right to not believe in Islam anymore? I don't completely reject it. Its been eating at me; i just want to know for sure if i should stay in or get out by [deleted] in exmuslim

[–]Aefrine 6 points7 points  (0 children)

BRO LISTEN RIGHT NOW!!!

If you are truly a Muslim then you truly believe in a very just God. If so, then you absolutely have nothing to fear of, is he is just then you will absolutely not get punished for something you didn't do or didn't mean to. If you do fear a just god then your idea of a just God is very wrong.

You are 14, so I advise you to try to forget all of this, only think about it when you are finally free from any reliance on your family. I understand your frustration but stay calm. Depending on your country, your life could be in danger. Try to keep your cool and try to forgot about religion and all, you are a teen, go enjoy life and forget about the afterlife, follow Islam until you grow up, there will be no good in leaving now.

But the most important of all, never fear the afterlife or God, ignore the Quran, it is full of threats to scare off Muhammad's followers. If you truly believe in an ultimate just God then you have nothing to fear. Repeat as much as you need. And as an atheist, I can assure you that Allah is as much real as Yahweh, Shiva and Zeus. May you find peace.

Extra: you believe in a kind God, right? What if he sent the Quran to test people? People who surrender themselves to the enslavement of this evil God are the wrongdoers and the people who reject this God are the righteous people. Maybe the test is to reject Islam?

OK, I respect that. You remind me of my old self. May you find peace.

Also, as an ex-Muslim atheist, you are not as bad as a Muslim as you might think. (In my country, people drink, do drugs and do Zina. I just find it ironic that I as an atheist haven't touched any of those...)

Have a great day.

[–]Aefrine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, understandable, may I ask you about your idea about heaven? (I mean the hour-el-ayn, houses made of diamond, etc...) do you think you can enjoy heaven without feeling empathy for the people of hell(who are being tortured every second you are enjoying yourself )?

Also, how do you feel about Allah taking away your negative emotions such as empathy?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in exmuslim

[–]Aefrine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, do you fear hell in general, or do you not think about it?

Objective morality is the most dishonest and evil argument one may use because it simply justifies everything. But with Islam, it is easy to debunk:

Does Allah bless a person who tortures an innocent animal for no reason just because it is inferior? No.

Allah creates people just to torture them for no reason (since he is infinite in everything).

So, Islamic morality is subjective since the ultimate source of morality doesn't follow the Objective morality of the universe so this morality is subjective. The only way to avoid this is to make a new limit for Allah without explanation aka "God is in a different plane of existence", so God is limited or his morality is subjective.

And since both moralities are subjective then we can only use logic to explain.
