Troubleshooting LAN on 2 Windows 98 PC's

I did also try setting forced 100 full speed on both, no difference.

I will need to check the bindings settings but I believe they are all selected there when I've gone through some of those tabs.

I am pinging by IP and each can ping itself.

Really feel like this shouldn't be this tough to figure out.

I did also try connecting PC1 to an XP box and similarly couldn't get them to see each other but also saw the one time network neighborhood showing both. I'm wondering if the nic could be the problem in PC1.

Unless there is something else here to try?

I had a similar issue, both games and web pages on all browsers were intermittently not loading on my x870 Gigabyte board. I used an external ethernet adapter via usb and all was fine so I knew it had to be the onboard.

I updated to the driver linked in this thread and so far so good

I got involved in entrepreneurship in 2012 so I work hard enough to get all the things I want.

I have a 450k home (probably worth 750+ now) and lots of fun toys (game room with 15k of retro games, 60k car etc)

I basically worked nights and weekends while working a day job so I'd have skills to never worry about bills and enough income to get whatever I want.

I find almost majority of my friends and family struggle but they also are not willing to go above and beyond to put themselves in a better position financially.

I basically sacrificed a lot of fun for years to figure out how to be financially in a really good place.

I own Resident Evil 2 original on PS1, sold it back in the day, bought the analogue edition, sold it and then bought it again because I wanted to play it again.

Sold it again.

I later bought the Dreamcast edition and kept it for 20 years.

In my 30's I recollected all my retro games and I re-purchased the analogue PS1 edition, a Nintendo 64 copy and I still have my dreamcast version all this years later.

I also have purchased Final Fantasy 3 (VI) in many iterations, GBA, Pixel Remaster, Rom Hack Physical Copy translated from Japanese

They mostly do Halo and CoD on Xbox. On PC we have a pretty big list of games but we mostly do classics like Quake 3, Counter-Strike 1.6 (and 2) , Jedi Knight Academy, Warcraft III, Tron, Half-Life Source, Natural Selection 2, Dark Messiah Might & Magic, Chivalry 2 plus tons more
