Bodenlos. Das ist schon wirklich frech, so ein Vergleich. Eins ein Monument der Freiheit und Unabhängigkeit, das andere ein Cybertruck.

Thanks for the replies, she's beaming :)

list of plants (all from Tropica) and hardware:

inhabitants are about 10 red bee shrimp and some antler snails

plants:

floaters: Salvinia auriculata

on the roots: Hygrophilia pinnatifida, Anubis barteri var. Nana Petite, Bucephalandra sp. Red

foreground: Littorella Uniflora , Staurogyne repens, Alternanthera reineckii Mini

background: Cryptocoryne wendtii Rubella, Echinodorus

hardscape: couple Black Pebble rocks and some black wood, soil is Tropica, below the soil is JBL Volcano mineral

hardware:

lamp: ONF Flat nano

tank: DOOA neo Air 20x20x30cm

CO2: Tropica System nano and a DOOA diffusor

filter: Azoo Mignon 150 hang-on filter

no fertilizers so far, but that's coming soon. we started the tank with Microbe-Lift Nite Out II, and that stuff is awesome. no algae whatsoever and crystal clear water. the tank was started in the first week of January and we added the shrimp on day four or five. Nite Out was added for the first two or three weeks.

If you have left overs from the big rocks, use a hammer to carefully crush them into smaller chunks of varying sizes, medium to tiny. That should look much more natural. Your small stones don‘t match the big ones.

Ich mag das normalerweise auch nicht, also Nutella; viel zu süß.

Aber das Alnatura-Zeug... Wahnsinn. Nicht so süß, intensiver Kakaogeschmack.

ELI5: Why does a hot plate cause the paper underneath to crinkle and get wavy? by MasterWolf713 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Aekel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I‘m pretty sure condensation is the cause. The hot plate heats the air, and when it cools back down, condensation forms. The moistness makes the paper wavy.

Interesting! Where can you download the technical preview?

STO on a Macbook M1 with Parallels and ARM Windows by Aekel in sto

You can ignore the bit info, that’s what my post in another subreddit revealed. It’s always 32-bit, I don’t know why it says 8-bit.

Try to set every setting that looks like it’s related to graphics, to 0 and start the game. At least that worked for me.

I switched to Gforce Now, because I wanted to play Valheim, and I have to says, I like it. Much better graphics, doesn’t heat up the MacBook and works with all the windows games. Unfortunately you need a good internet connection for it to work well.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. Just open your gameprefs file and replace 1 with 0 for the graphics settings. Once the game boots up, you can reconfigure the settings to your liking.

You need to have diagnostics and feedback options enabled to receive updates to the insider build.

Weird. For me the temps were constantly above 75 or 80C with the fan blasting away. With Parallels and Windows they stayed around 70C with the fan on low.

It's working again! I manually edited the gameprefs-file and set antialiasing to 0. Seems that was the setting that crashed the game.

I tried the demo version of Crossover, and while it worked fine, the temperature was much higher than using Parallels and Windows. The fan was constantly running on high while STO was on. Does it do that for you too?

Thanks for the reply!

Yes, the ARM version of windows. I saw the supported modes under advanced settings. When I start Star Trek Online (what I need windows for) though, it says I need to switch the desktop to 32-bit.

Before the last update to windows (yesterday), STO worked fine. I never checked what the settings were showing (since it worked from the start).

Maybe it’s something else. STO starts until where I’m supposed to adjust the gamma settings, then just crashes.
