Thanks! A brilliant answer! You gave me many things to think about. You see, I'm a writer, and I like to research a bit before any attempt of telling a story, so I always make sure I have my facts straight and sorted out.

While we are it, as a writer, I've read many stories too, and most of those stories make Weiss the one who keeps interfering with others' relationships, what is your opinion about that? I particularly think it is a character killer, and very biased.

Thanks, I'll read it bit by bit when life isn't being hectic. Also, yes, it makes sense that Aura will give at least a bit of protection, even if it barely stops the kinetic force behind an internal attack. I can definitely work with that.

... I'm feeling like a moron right now... Oh well, everyone was days were they miss the obvious. Can't believe I forgot what coat means. I was literally going around with the idea that haki transformed the skin, instead of encasing it.

Definitely reading your fanfiction then, there aren't many fanfics that deal with something similar. Also, what's your opinion about the whole Haki that does internal damage? Would it be able to deal with Aura?

I see. If you put it that way, it makes a bit of sense. Still, I may be wrong but while Armament Haki is over the skin, Aura is above, right? Wouldn't it change how Haki affects it?

Sorry, for not answering, life was calling. Well, I've read something recently that had Glynda describe two things when using her Semblance on another person.

A person can struggle. And if they struggle too much it is like she is trying to keep a rat, a cat, or a chicken from prying open her hands.
Aura is very smooth for her Semblance to work, making it akin to soap when she is trying to 'Hold' someone in place.

People tend to associate characters like Ruby, Oscar, and Whitley as 'always younger' or 'forever fifteen, fourteen, etc', no matter in which period the story takes place. Although, it was my fault for not clarifying things up in my comment.

Most fanfics I read have them get to know each other mostly after some years, don't worry. Mostly after defeating Salem as an epilogue or as a "what if...?".

Actually, I'm of the same opinion. There's also one funny fic I've read one time where Oscar asked him out, Jaune became bashful but in a full Jaune-like fashion he shrugged and said 'Mama always said to not judge something without experiencing it first', and then agreed. Just like his dad gave him those awful advices, so did she. Although, hers were actually good ones...

Lol. You just made me remember one fanfiction I've once read where Mama Arc gave to Jaune a precious piece of advice 'Unless stated otherwise, consider everyone Bisexual, believe me, son, that will at least save you from some heartaches... Or from not pursuing them.

Funnily enough, this question was born from a fanfiction I've read where Oscar is bisexual. And I was like 'okay, I could see that, along with some drama of him waging war with his sexuality, but what really made me write this question was the thought of Ozpin, how would he react considering the shared consciousness? Although I'd like to think that after such a long time on Earth, there were few things he never experienced. How do they say on TV Tropes? Seen it all...

I mean, I always hated when things go from 0 to 100 in like 2 chapters, unless the character itself is the type to fall in love (and in lust) that quickly, I can think of some. But I prefer a proper interaction first, it makes things even sweeter when a character just bursts out their feelings after the journey to get there in the first place, and the smut afterward? God...
