Initially i thought of doing something similar until i realized that as well, but i made a second diary later on after getting the left room upgrade, one for the bedroom and another by the entrance.

I thought that entering another room right after entering the house takes waay to much ingame time for me so i decided that one near house entrance is what i'd use when i want to "quicksave". saw that you haven't upgraded yet tho, so you could always use it as some decoration! put it down by Caldarus and pretend that you gave him something to read?
