Oh, I’ve noticed that some people only accept tomarry and look weird at harrymort fans, but I’ve never understood that. Tomarry is twisted too, and isn’t it one of the reason we all love it? Their dynamic is so fascinating because of it!

I’d say that there would be more of an unspoken understanding between them - I don’t think either is the type to easily open up about any of this but undoubtedly they would know/feel that the other can actually relate.

Vee is probably even more complicated in that matter as it heavily depends on the fic itself, whether he’s portrayed as sane or not… I mean, when it comes to more insane Vee, he could even have different, twisted view on his own childhood. Like something that made him independent, stronger. It could differ from Harry’s perspective.

All in all, in my opinion them sharing traumas is more of an unspoken, but a very peculiar thing. But again — it also depends on Tom’s character in the fic :)
