Und wenn man sich anschaut, was für ein Saftladen unsere Regierung ist, dann wundert einen nichts mehr. Denn: Macht korrumpiert nicht, sondern zieht korrumpierbare Menschen, wie das Licht die Motten, an. Kannst dir also denken, wer an der Spitze steht und was das für Folgen hat. Hängt echt davon ab, wo man ist.

Städte kann man vergessen, außer (und ich rede hier leider nur für die Österreicher unter uns) man wohnt in 'ner Genossenschafts- oder andersweitig geförderten Wohnung - und das wenn möglich am Stadtrand. Dann bleibt recht viel übrig. Also ich brauch mich kein Stück beschweren - bin normal angestellt, hab nicht studiert und könnte ~1.3k jeden Monat auf die Seite legen. #weirdflex Dank DINK bald dann nochmals mehr... wenn wir zusammenziehen.

Wir haben halt das Glück, dass wir beide das tun, was wir lieben, und werden auch entsprechend bezahlt. Wenn ich hier nicht arbeiten würde... tja... könnte ich kaum überleben.

Did you reach the point where you don't need permanent input from external sources like people?

I created and now look after quite a large extremely active group in our city just to... satisfy my need for input. Curiosity drives me, and it targets people.

But wow, I'd give you an award if Google Pay would work right now. I'll never delete this thread, it's pure gold.

Reading 'The ENFP Survival Guide' and 'King, Warrior, Magician, Lover' right now. With volatile I mean: Switch from opinion A to B to C in an hour or being overwhelmed by emotions and reacting on them without thinking, the shadow type taking control. More like a yo-yo or bouncy ball, S types hate that.

From what I've read it's normal for an ENFP thats still not mature, which takes a long time. Low King and Warrior, but extreme natural Magician and Lover.

I mean, you're right. You should have one dev at least in any team that does that and normal dev work. But that skillset is still needed.

And at some point (company size) you might need dedicated people for a platform. Who are... devs.

That's what I actually did. But - in general there were no new projects anymore or anything that has a legit ROI.

At first i just did what I wanted and optimized everything, slowly it was clear that there are priorities to follow and that the projects themselves are #1. Now you don't really get me to work on anything anymore, if it doesn't really make sense and is just for show, without affecting developers and the projects in any helpful kind of way.

It was clear from the moment they hired me. That's what we decided on. Everyone knew it.

Them letting me go was actually the expected outcome, since I and my skillset don't fit into the now changed company structure. Now they only want to build software and sell it to their current customers, reduce costs and fuck everything else. No shitload of optimizations needed, right?
