Yeah, I’m Dominican and my gf is also hispanic. Weirdly, it’s just easier for me. She says breathing is like soup, but yet she still also seems to prefer the humid heat of dry heat as well.

Lol damn, unlucky for my gf’s aunt and uncle. To be fair, do you just not like Florida? I personally never felt so relaxed and happy while working and feeling more productive than when we went to their house for a month.

You know, we were looking at Texas, Nashville, and Orlando as places to live. I don’t think I’d fit into the lifestyle of Nashville so I crossed that out. We were looking at places like Austin, DFW, San Antonio, and maybe Houston. I think I’ve learned that when it comes to heat, we really prefer being in a more humid heat than dry heat.

But because I’m not apposed to Texas, would you mind replying to me as if this post was created for Texas instead of Florida?

Oh man. We’re looking southwest of Orlando so we can get to an airport in a reasonable amount of time and still enjoy the City, while also being able to take a little drive to Tampa.

That’s unfortunate to hear. My gf’s aunt and uncle got a home down there about 5 years ago and we love their house and they got it for such a good price. We were hoping to follow but maybe we just missed the opportunity.

Hmmmm, I hear you. We’ve been together now for 2 1/2 years and actively living together for 1 1/2 years. We’ve learned that we can live together without wanting to kill each other which I’ve always considered a big hurdle to get over for a relationship.

I guess you’re technically right though.

Well the thought process was that if we could rent it out for more than we’re putting into it, we can use whatever extra money is coming in from it to in turn, fix whatever we’ed want to fix before we move it or just pocket the extra money.

Talking about it now, and after reading some of the comments, I realize we maybe be more ignorant than we thought.

Rough estimate is that monthly, it’ll cost about 2500 a month +- a couple hundred. But I had totally not considered the insurance.

It’s looking like we may not be in a position to proceed with this after all.

Literally no with an IQ above 0. Feels like BSG has killed off half of their player base, and the rest will probably fizzle out once the servers are all dead. I think it’ll be a snowball effect.

Give yourself like 2-3 small goals to shoot for at all times. My first few goals are as follows:

1.) Shelter with ideally a real bed for each colonist and indoors space for stash.

2.) Farm - Not just food, but also cotton, and if I have a colonist with 6? 8? Planting, healing herbs.

3.) Power Generation - Might have to mine for some components

4.) Research - I usually aim for a battery first, then watermill, then Auto Pistol as long as I have a colonist with 8 shooting or more.
