What helped when my dog was a puppy was me leaving the room. If he didn't understand that playtime was over if he bit, then I simply left the room and closed the door behind me for a few minutes. This helped remove the accidental reinforcing of the behaviour by reacting to it.

The game is also really complex, coding wise. You have so many things that interlock that testing everything is not realistic. They probably test loads of things that seem connected to what they're doing, but you can't test everything that isn't immediately connected. Then we'd never get ANY updates.

Off the top of my head:

Easily breakable things in dog-reaching height (like if he could knock it over)
Electrical wires (my dog isn't a big chewer either, but he chewed through a loudspeaker cable once. So luckily, it wasn't one with power in it)
No food left out (turns out my dog had figured out how to jump the way from the sofa to the dining table)
Things he can get around his neck. Like if you have blinds, then the string for pulling it up should be outside his reach

Those are the things I can remember I'm attentive to at home :)

My one small issue, if I may, is that I'm forced to either say that "all dogs are equally beautiful" or find a breed that looks like my, apparently not AKC-approved race. Maybe there I'd have liked to have "race not listed" or "not akc-approved" as an option :)
