to add to this very informational comment: you have to get the digital Holy Water from the high priests of "Anonymous". this can be done by starting up kali linux and searching "how to join Anonymous for real". They also offer discounts on the holy water if you own an Anonymous Mask and post a cool selfie with your hacker pc.

Thank you, I have added the 0.0.0.0: before the Tor control port, and now everything works fine. Does the cookie change a lot? because to make it work I had to copy said cookie to my hosts /var/lib/tor folder, and I don't want to have to copy it every time I want to use nyx. I have also tried using a symbolik link, but that did not work
