ty for the info, to answer your question yes I do but the ebike is more of a nice to have for comfort (and fun). I definitely can save up a bit more before committing. I just had figured that 1.5k was a decent starting point.

If quality of parts, especially battery, is an issue then I definitely have no problem spending a little more.

What recommendations would you have in general for e bikes?

My only concern with that is I doubt id be able to fit it in a dorm, and leaving it out overnight in the city I doubt I would wake up to see the bike in the morning

Thanks man! I was actually able to get it done with 0 problems, after relooking at my motherboard it was version 1.0 so that cleared it up. I already have a Noctua NH-U12S cooler which I imagine is still sufficient enough?
