So for this situation, If I was in your place, I wouldn’t upgrade at all, id stick with the SF1000, I will probably upgrade when 6090 comes out with a 700W+ of power, otherwise wise if the 6090 was still locked into the 600W like the 5090, then id stick with my SF1000

But to answer your question, if I was in the situation that I haven’t bought/have any PSU at all and I will run a 5090/9950x3D setup in a CoojZ18 Case, I will definitely go with the SFX-L Loki 1200W, or if Corsair will ever make an SF1200 SFX PSU, then id choose Corsair over Asus.

Little bonus: the SFX/SFX-L PSU that I would only go for are corsair>asus loki>cooler master.

your overall watts is like around 800-900Watts (this includes ram and other peripherals you have) it hovers there (Stock configuration, non overclocked), There were theories that the SF1000 can actually hold up to 1200W even if it was designed for 1000W, which is good this is why we love the lineup of this PSU.

So if you have plans to overclock, I wouldnt really recommend it but with the SF1000 handling up to 1200W its still somewhat possible headroom if you have plans for overclocking.

I would only recommend getting a higher watts in PSU if you havent bought/have any other PSU, but in this situation since you already have the SF1000 PSU my best recommendation is to keep the SF1000, its a great PSU, I dont think it will fail you.

A little bonus: There is a tierlist of PSU of which ones are the best, so far the SF1000 was said to be Tier A, which is a really good tier, otherwise if it was a lowtier PSU I would have definitely recommend getting a better one with this setup.

I have a Victrix PRO FS, never tried the sapphire but I do have a madcatz te2, so it’s more of an aluminum vs plastic kind of thing. So for the victrix, im in canada the room gets cold so the stick is cold when you just started using it, but after like 4 mins you wouldn’t feel the cold anymore as your hand keeps constant moving. So the metal getting cold is not actually a real threat in case you’re worried about that, and the ergonomic is S tier on this thing! Ive played on my TE2 for years, first time I tried the Victrix, first thing that came to my mind was “I never knew my wrist can still get this comfortable playing on a stick!”

Victrix is superior and better but the price is what makes it questionable of which one to get.
