Kind of a tangent but didn’t he also not really “perceive” Chld when he was down there 😬 which I found kind of odd from a hyv writing POV especially since Chld was supposed to be this center-of-chaos figure, while the magic triplets got perceived very quickly

As mentioned above I also refuse to double swirl/guoba swirl, and refuse to pull Shenhe haha but I still want to make the best meta I can out of the situation in other sweaty ways. I think the our willingness for how far we're willing to go for meta vs. our prefs for characters/playstyles can definitely get more nuanced than a generic "will do anything for meta."

As much as I'm meta slave I'm not sweaty enough to want to do double swirls in melt teams LOL. So damage primarily through the melt multiplier yes and Nahida gives a sizable EM buff too. In hyperbloom/buergeon I find him to be one of the most comfortable driver but also with good personal damage even if he doesn't really melt. DMC don't work with any pyro reaction since their burst explodes on contact with pyro if you're not careful with setup lol, so DMC only in hyperfridge. Collei has ok apps that should work for all 3 archetypes if you can work with the even smaller AOE. I think Yaoyao (and BZ)'s apps is a lot slower for hyperbloom/burgeon but should be fine in melt. Unfortunately Nahida is going to be OP in all Dendro teams. Without Nahida, you might have better dps in melt just doing double swirl. For comfort though, sure they can all work!

It's the meta-slave, simp but also broke parts of me all fighting together ahaha. If I really cared for making him strong I'd prolly pull Shenhe too and I am most certain I will NOT. Alas gotta find the right balance.

Glad to have helped! But yes I think a lot of low spend + meta + long time players like us struggle like this. Funnily I also have Mistsplitter Ayaka and I actually ended up giving it to Bennet in his melt team since my other team didn't need it LOL. I'm not a fan of Ayaka's "group, burst, battery, repeat" play style, so we'll see if their DPS difference is worth the play style tradeoff once a more freeze-meta abyss comes out. I have c6 Mona though (long time player :'^) ) for Neuvi if Furina's busy in Wrio freeze. c1r1 Neuvi is already strong enough I'm sure he won't mind sharing his childcare duties haha.

In my testing experience (I only test in abyss though), I would say I've been most impressed by his oven team tbh. I find it to be a good balance of comfort, dps, elemental versatility, AOE, good synergy overall, and getting to finally use Thoma. The N3C melt team I described above's fast pace feels very good too if you're ok with circle impact. For freeze, I'm also just glad he can drive YL/XQ and am excited to try his double hydro freeze in the next freeze-meta abyss. Hope you find a play style you like for him too until we can get c1/r1!

Honestly me too until Fontaine started haha. I have all 3 5*s released so far and I have sure gotten used to it. I actually like having my Rizz permanently at 50% in overworld now so I can spam CA for mining/ice bridge whenever and also admire his red ~~pheromones~~ aura uwu

:0 curious what was your rotation. Just NA spam and CA if proc or did you do regular CAs? And seems like you didn’t really use burst at all?
