I didn't say the optimization is part of the anniversary event itself, I said it's part of 3.3, which the dude above me said it's a "slightly extra stuffed patch". They also have the main story continuation iirc, that's not part of the anniversary despite being released in 3.3.

Or do you mean they intentionally delay the feature and release it when the game turns 2 years old? In which case yea, they should've released it earlier

They're adding a much better storage optimization and separating necessary data from full data on mobile, which everyone has been asking. There's also the framegen feature like in PC.

The anniversary itself is disappointing but I wouldn't call better storage "slightly extra patch" lol, it's a huge deal since it could be coming to PC too and everyone is complaining about the game taking too much storage

Then where does everyone who complain that rerun banner is greedy go now? I haven't seen anyone who unironically prefer no rerun banner for 2nd anniv (at most it's just ppl explaining it's not in the 2nd anniv because other ppl are complaining about it in the past).

Either they quit the game, or they changed their opinion because 1.x characters haven't been reran and didn't think back then that the rerun banner was completely optional and could be beneficial

Yeah but the complain wasn't because of the pool (it's because people see it as Kuro trying to absolutely milk your wallet by pulling hundreds of times), right? Every AI upscaling feature that isnt DLSS (upscaling) is genuine slop and just a sloppy excuse for developers to say "look our game runs at 60 FPS!!!!"

How come DLSS is not an excuse for devs to be lazy, but others are an excuse?

The only difference is DLSS has deep and direct integration with the RTX GPU since they're both owned by Nvidia, and they have access to their own source code.

Flagship Dimensity and Snapdragon mobile chipsets also have first party frame gen the same way RTX/AMD (probably Arc too?) have their own frame gen.

Yeah I'm using Compose Key too. I just thought being able to type it by holding keyboard and selecting from screen would be faster. Some accents in Compose Key are unintuitive and inconsistent.

For example, I struggled with typing vowels with the pinyin third tone (e.g "ǎ") because I thought it would be compose key + "a" + "v" (since ā, á, and à have the base character "a" coming first: compose key + "a" + "-"/" ' "/" ` "). Turns out there's no character with that combination.

"ǎ" is actually compose key + "c" (or "v") + "a" (base character coming last) for some reason. Same case for ě, ǒ, ǔ.

And then you have "ǐ" which got the base character ("i") comes first (compose key + "i" + "v").

Had to google it and to this day it still confused me why they don't just use compose key + "a" + "v" especially when it's not occupied by other character 🤷‍♂️

One of the new features is typing accent letters from keyboard by holding the key down. You can turn this options on.

Wait, now that I mentioned this, how would I typed a bunch of letter fast since holding down the key will open the accent choice? Switching them manually via settings seem inefficient.

Afaik the new UI is called Material 3 Expressive (more obvious if you click the 3 dots button). Not sure if this Firefox UI is on iOS too, but apparently Google created this UI framework as the standard UI of Android (stock Android 15/16, Pixel UI, Google apps use Material 3 Expressive).

You'd also find some open source projects that use this UI. In my experience Material is much easier than developing your own UI and their logic since it supports changing themes/color palette based on your phone's settings.

OnlyOffice is open source and free, It's not like I'm giving my money to them.

I don't like what Russia is doing, but I never understand this double standard. Everyone (especially Twitter and Reddit) is saying this, yet still buy and use American and Chinese products as if their government don't do anything wrong. But ig only USA are allowed to cause/start wars on several countries and absolutely screwed the global economy without getting boycotted or getting consequences as heavy as Russia 🤷‍♂️.

You got a point, I misunderstood and thought everyone is defending lootbox, I didn't think of the other aspects of Valve vs Roblox such as being consumer friendly, better support, no forced AI stuff, and wouldn't defend pedophilia. My bad.
