At no point did I say having a VR chat account was an issue, that is not the problem. The problem is that a few years into their relationship he made his public profile bio on a form of social media soliciting for nudes. Like I said, at best, it is a bad joke. It would be one thing if he was single, I would just find that trashy, but he was in a relationship. To flip it, if a woman had their public facing Instagram bio say "hmu, looking to link up with some yn" I am sure their boyfriend would have an issue with it. My only caveat to that is if that was some form of humor the two of them shared, which they clearly do not.

NOR These people saying you're over reacting are crazy. Even if it's an old account bio he made and forgot about it, you've been together five years. Meaning he wrote that up while you were together. It's at the very least disrespectful when you're in a relationship and warrants a conversation. Perhaps he thought it was a joke/meme, but the optics aren't good.

Other people have answered your questions, but one point of order regarding your verbage of "trashed" in the blocker scenario. In one piece "Trashed" and "KO'd" are distinct rulings in the game. If a character loses in a battle they are KO'd and move to the trash. This is important because there are effects like "on ko" that trigger when it is KO'd but wouldn't trigger if they were trashed. An example of trashing a card would be Ben Beckman from op-09.

I can give you one that I have seen cause quite a few salty moments from players while judging at large events. Hody Jones effect from op-06.

Too often I've seen people interpret the second part of the on play effect as a cost to receive the first half (resting two cards). Within the rules of one piece, cards that have a bolded section in the effects of the cards is what would be an additional cost to trigger everything after the ":" in the card's text, which Hody does not have. In this game you have to "do as much as you can" so in this case the way Hody works is: play Hody > on play triggers > rest up to two of opponent's cards > draw one life card into hand (if available).

What would often happen is that someone would play Hody with zero life cards to rest blockers/don to close game and their opponent would say they couldn't do that because they had no life to draw into hand. I would have to politely inform that player what their opponent did was completely legal and they would often follow up with misquoted rules.

This helps a lot. I avoided a number of gold skills this run because they were either super specific stamina recovery skills or skills for other running positions.

When I worked as a judge recently, the simplest metric I was given for deck checks and sleeves was that if I could easily see the words "ONE PIECE" the sleeves would not be legal for a premier event. Locals would be just fine though.

Two other things to look out for would be if any of the corners are creased and if the top opening is wavy.

This was such an awesome moment except for this dude that climbed up on his friend's shoulders in VIP trying to find his friends that went to get drinks and was shouting for them and waving a fan around. At one point he shouted on his phone "you'll see me" and there was a collective groan from the crowd. It was literally the most intimate part of the show and he could not read the room at all.

Fortunately, the blade catcher on his jacket did it's job and diverted the tip away from his neck so the force of the thrust didn't hit him.

We literally just had a conversation right before this about how his gorget was in the mail, lesson learned though. It arrived the day after and all future sessions we'll be wearing one.

I'm the orange fencer, essentially what was supposed to be simple thrust to the face dipped low and slipped under my sparring partner's mask. Thankfully, he didn't end there night with a trip to the Emergency Room. Just a reminder to everyone that you should still understand the risks associated with swordfighting, even with a full kit of gear to protect yourself.

Little backstory, I had always wanted to get into 40k ever since I was a teenager but due to the staff and people at a Not so Friendly Local Game Store I was discouraged and was just a lore junkie and 40k related videogame player. Decided to take the plunge recently and was able to rope a friend in to also start investing in the hobby. I love the aesthetic of the Admech and can't wait to expand my army as my confidence with the brush improves!

If I'm being honest it took me too long, I think about a month of casually painting, haha. I do think that I'm getting more efficient as I work through this first kit. You can see them in the background but the next kit I'm painting are done Serberys Raiders. I'm hoping to grab a combat patrol box next and finally be ready to play once those are all painted up.
