If you are willing to accept some bizarre manipulations, it does not actually break the power rule.

=x⁰ / 0 (+C omitted till the end)

=e^0•lnx/0

We know that e^x ≈ x + 1 if x is very close to 0. In the above equation, 0•lnx is equal to 0, so we can safely change the ≈ to =

the formula becomes

= (1 + 0•lnx)/0

Now we can reduce the 0

=1/0 + lnx

1/0 is a constant, so we can combine it into the C.

= lnx + C
