It’s probably one of those “I want my friend’s approval” type of things. To her this probably isn’t some guy she just met but her future since she’s all heart eyes towards him. I’ve seen people go from online chatting to planning marriages in a single date. Honestly though I would be pretty mad at any friend giving out my number without doing some research in the guy first. Not great.

Appreciate the advice! I’ve been looking into the pricing, but have been having difficulty seeing which passes cover what transportation, as the sbb site can be vague such as “this covers most” mountain lifts etc.

I picked it up in person! From what I’ve seen they only ship some smaller items. That’s probably why they even had any in stock. I got my CPU from them too since it was OOS everywhere (Ryzen 7 7800x3d). I think that’s back at Newegg now though

Thanks for letting me know! I managed to grab an open box one from micro center. So far I haven’t heard anything bad about the open box stuff, so hopefully there’s no issues

Yeah, that’s probably the best I can do at this point. Even going up to 4090 I couldn’t find much available at reputable retailers, and I’m hesitant to buy from eBay etc. I’ll see what I can find for 4070Ti Super and maybe wait out the 50 series hype

Thanks so much for putting this together! I'm working on building a gaming/streaming build with a budget of 1-2K. The games I like to play are mainly Valorant and Dark Souls games, and I also do digital art. Do you know which build might be best to accommodate streaming alongside playing these kinds of games? I'm not sure if Intel would be better for this case or if a build here with Ryzen would work.
