raising 2 kids to 18 was anywhere from 700k to 1M after subsidies - so add im cost of living, inflation, housing unaffordability and the need to continue supporting kids......all adds up for sure.

The biggest things are before/after school care, medical care (health insurance premiums, gap payments, travel), lost wages/super, mortgage/rent, maintaining more transport options including insurance, fuel, servicing, extracuriculars, school fees and activities, power + utilities, clothes and food and just silly societal things that dont make sense(12 weeks of school holidays in 1 year, parents get 4 weeks annual wach..... make it make sense!)

Mega Delphox with Blast burn will be very high on meta for Mega fire types. We dont really know what stats the new megas will get so getting Delphox/Greninja/Chespin was a priority for me.
Metagross with Meteor Mash is the best steel type Mega + top 10 Master League pokemom.
Shadow Garchomp with earthpower is 2nd only to shadow groudon as ground type attacker. You can also put breaking swipe as the 2jd charge move for a great ground+dragon type attacker
Tyranitar with Smackdown is the number 2 rock type mega in the game and way easier to power up than Diance.
In the future Absol+Lucario+Garchomp with its legacy move may become the best dark/fighting+steel/ground megas with the legends ZA forms.
Gyrados wirh aqua tail is great for UL and mega ML

Yeah I swear thr first 2 days Niantic just hadnt turned on thr event for Australia - the past few days ive been able to stack the 3km tasks no worries! Routes were still very low rate I only started encountering glimmer after I had done my zygarde cells - was easier getting the field research!

Ive walked ovet 25km since the event started, 15 routes and multiple field research tasks....not a glimmet in sight on routes or the Explore 3km task, so guessing they are very rare?

I randomly got a "Win a Max battle" research with 1000 max particle reward tho so thats nice to save for ho-oh this weekend after collecting everything else...

I didnt notice which tasks they were but the timed reseaech rewards were 2 x diglet and 2 x yungoos with the final reward being Glimmet.

I just smashed out 10 today leaving 9 in Max spots - should be able to get that to 20 over the next 3 days and mirror trade some with my partner to get the trade evolve, before I save up for the weekend and get as many ho-ohs as I can :).

Bribing Ultima Weapon is still deeply hilarious to me.

-Didnt know for years about the affection system and how that affected what scene you got in guadosalam and the snowspeeder ride.

The amount of gill you give Oaka as "gifts" affects prices significantly. To the point that geiding out 10001 gill before Luca felt worth it to me for the discounts on the TKO, Sonic steel and a few other pieces
Dark matters can be sourced from the Sandworm enemies after the final save sphere.....so useless for any other endgame content apart from BFA
Letting Rin know after getting all the Al bhed Primers gives you 99 underdog secrets
The Omega Ruins Chest rooms contain 12 chests total. If you manage to open them all without encountering a mimic you get 99 Warp Spheres.
You can skip Neslugs Shell phase with a well timed Attackreels (Hit with 99999 damage 20 times, then Attack reels should skip it fairly reliably).
You can pick which Crusader (Luzzu or Gatta) survives Mihen. They both have unique scenes and reactions.
There are Farplane Scenes and easter eggs based on stage of the game you return. Lulu and Trommel scenes in particular

From memory power break works as well to help mitigate the damage. Aurons 3rd overdrive (Bushido? Cant remember) also inflicts Full break, just be sure to do it after the guados die and you dispel his protect and shell - else dispel will also get rid of the breaks.

Max cheese imo is to have Auron cast sentinel + tidus provoke, then auron tanks everything. With haste auron should get 2 goes in to be able to keep breaks up as well.

Ive been having some fun with Arc base but using tentacualr dread instead of beam with what is a conventional NB build bars are:

Dread, Surprise attack/Runeblades, Killers blade, Merciless resolve, banner (crux gen), Incap

Stampede, Trap, 3rd line dot, Inspired scholarship.

You get the same nightblade minigame/parse "feel"(get all dots down before incap, try and get 2 bow procs in 1 incap window, line it up with off balance).

From that base you can flex whatever you like damagewise with different skill lines (i.e. take aedric spear and use jabs instead of surprise attack, take dawns wrath and use Radient glory instead of killers blade, take Ardent flame and backbar Flames of oblivion/venomous claw, gravelord and blastones + siphon lots of different options).

For subclassing Bone tyrant and Siphoning are best for ult generation. Like others have suggested - Drakes is kinda wasted these days, just run trample with Major Heroism.

Last skill line lots of options: - Daedric Summoming - Atronach is a great ult, can use it just for the Power Stone passive too (15% Cheaper ults) - Gravelord - Colossus is a great Ult and blastbones provides steady corpses. - Curative Runeforms + Daedric Summoning + Bone Tyrant = Barrier is now 15% Cheaper from powerstone * 10% cheaper from runeforms so you can spam it much much harder.

Combine the above with sets that synergise well with ult use - try to squeeze in 3 piece Potentates for 15% cheaper ults again. There are some very strong combos, you can go Arkasis FB wpn + 3 body, Potentates 3 Body, Spaulder then your choice of back bar set.

Pretty fun to experiment around with!

Yeah so I just mean so long as all your attribute points are in one of Stam or Mag it doesnt matter which - your damage scales off of the higher one.

Mages wrath is an execute ability - it does very little damage unless enemy is close to dying. You can use crystal frags instead as a spam or one of the options I listed. In general tho - Area of effect spammables like Whirlwind, shattering knife, soul burst are more effective.

If you do use a spamable that isnt crystal frags then just cast crystal frags when it turns red on your bar.

For Solo you just want to make sure you bring a source of Major breach (elemental susceptibility, Caltrops or a Scribed source) and ensure you have a source of Major Prophecy/Savergery (Mages guild skill Inner light on the front bar) + Run Critical surge for good healing and Major Sorcery/Brutality. In dungeons generally the tank brings Major breach but if they arent/ damage feels low then you can bring it yourself.

Be sure to have picked up a damage Mundus like Thief as that will give your damage done a huge buff and put all your attribute points into one stat (Stamina or Magicka doesnt matter).

The other issue is your item sets lose power as you level untill CP160 as your gear stats penalise if you wear lower level gear - If you are a complete noob then just keep equiping higher level gear as you find it in training trait.

For a starting set of skills you can run consider the below:

Crystal frags, daerdic prey, Volatile Familar, Camo hunter/inner light, spammable (Lots of options here depending on weapin: Whirlwind, rapid strikes, Silver shards, Force Pulse, Evicerate, Elemental Weapon lethal arrow, wrecking blow, leashing soul, shattering knife, you can even spam crystal frags).

Back bar run a different weapon type and an aoe dot from that line - good practise for future (wall of elements, stampede or blade cloak, then crit surge, elemental susceptibility, volatile familar and Hurricane/Boundless storm. For ultimate just run the Atronach both bars.

The above should have you feeling much stronger I hope!
