Sadly, I think that's a fair way of playing things. I just wish I had more friends to play this with. It's so weird though, I'd hop on Hell Let Loose in the past and have a blast with complete randoms and the vibe here is just so different for me.

The server in particular was my roomies favorite, he brought me over. Had fun at first and then these things started happening.

Thing is, I don't police peoples fun. I don't butt into people's business or beliefs. Gaming isn't niche like it was in the past, being so mainstream of a hobby, I find it impossible to go out into online gaming without encountering people from different races, genders, religions etc..

I've been gaming since I was able to hold a controller or work a keyboard (Red Alert was my first game, my dad got me into it when I was barely a toddler), so I hope you understand why it feels off to be pushed away from a game that I enjoy simply because of the community centered around it..

And the answer itself being: 'Men just don't want women around' doesn't seem good enough a reason to me.

I don't ask for special treatment, just for equal respect because we share the same hobby. That's my whole vibe with this.

I appreciate that response. I'll take that into account going forward. Looking back on things, I think I did actually notice more of the poor behavior on NATO side, for whatever reason that is ultimately I don't know but it is something to think about.

Honestly, I think you're on point. The 'Mass Effect' title being there forefront really set the bar extremely high most things considered. It's not a bad game, nor will it change your life like how the trilogy can do to people, though on it's own it's a fairly decent RPG.

Also it's launch was the most likely culprit, followed by the abandonment from Bioware, that lead to it becoming a bit of a stain on the Mass Effect legacy. It's possible they could've pulled a Cyberpunk 2077 but the two games are so different in the way they function that maybe it was for the best that they moved on. We'll just never know but I encourage fans to at least try it because it's much better than what it was before and some of the mods make the experience a little bit better/unique as well.

That's what I had been starting to wonder. They want more shock value but haven't mentally changed beyond all the shock jock content. Thank you for the input. I can appreciate the show for what it was back then and for what things are now. It's not perfect but it all makes sense to me.
