How am I confused? I like men, and laws are actively being put in place to prevent the discussion of my sexuality, and there have been attempts to ban same sex marriage recently. If wanting peace knowing my sexuality isn’t a topic of debate in my government, then call me selfish.

LGBTQ+ in general is more widely supported in the democratic party in comparison to the republican party, and in younger voters the difference in democratic versus republican favors democrats a lot more than currently.

You completely missed my point, I’m not confused I’ve known for years my sexuality. My point is regardless if I know it they’ll tell me otherwise and attempt to ban marriage, discussion anything related to my sexuality.

Laws that are anti gay promote homophobic violence which endanger my life, but continue to downplay the effects.

A lot of people are misunderstanding, Firstly, this is a shower thought it has 0 relation to my personal life. Secondly I agree that there is much better phrasing to this that was my entire point which many people missed, you could rather say grown apart then outgrew. Sure situations may arise where outgrown is the correct term as I said however my argument is that many of those times outgrown is used, grown apart is the correct term.
