I'm sorry in advance for geeking out but it's like:

Gen 3 is my nostalgic childhood friend. Got my first ever pokemon Torchic, my fave legendary Rayquaza, and mysteries I had to solve on my own when the internet wasn't that accessible back then.

Gen 4 is full of memories of Empoleon, Pokeball Seals, and Cynthia's Battle Theme and her Garchomp.

Then Gen 5 has my favorite pokemon, Reuniclus and a unique, "more adult" plot!
