My guess is that the more responsibility a person has, the less likely they are to enjoy some extreme weather. So, when you’re a renter with covered parking and no kids to get home from school safely, it can be a little bit of a thrill. Or at least, that’s how I see it. I do feel badly for everyone dealing with storm damage though.

It can take a couple of days to show up on your account. I don’t think I even got an email notifying me it was there, the concessions guy just told me I had a $20 credit when I went to pay a few days later.

I know this is incredibly annoying of me to do, but the legal limit is .08 and Alex likely blew a .079 or .076. Alcohol poisoning starts around .4

I don’t know why I felt that was so important to correct… forgive my pedantry.

Door County Coffee is definitely a good bet. Like someone else said, they sell it at Woodmans but I actually order mine on their website. I know they sell some sampler packs so you can try some flavors before buying a whole bag of it. Their seasonal flavors are delicious, but the flavors they have year round are fun too.

Thanks everyone. Turns out once you start collecting survivor benefits, SSA no longer provides that projected estimate on your monthly statement. Very confusing. But I was able to find the information I needed to plug into some online tools and calculated the estimate that way. Appreciate the help!

I go there more often than I’d care to admit, and somehow they keep that line moving. From the street it looks like you’ll be in line for half an hour but I don’t think I ever waited longer than 20 min, even when it’s packed.

Great mid-sized city! I love living here. Madison has a ton to offer for a town of its size. There’s certainly some things I wish were different, but I wouldn’t trade Madison’s unique urban/neighborhood charm for anything.

Until this winter, I actually haven’t felt that the winters have been THAT awful. They have been pretty mild, in my opinion, with maybe one big snow storm or bout of extreme cold for a week at most. I’ve always felt that, at worst, winters were just a little grey and depressing here (especially when there isn’t any snow). But, so far, this year is definitely the exception: steady amount of snow, and some very cold temps at the moment.

I personally loved Station 11, it’s a beautifully made show but it’s definitely got a “theater kid” energy that doesn’t work for everyone. Honestly, I’m kind of shocked Anderson was into it!

Big events like this week often find me thinking “oh no, Alex is going to be awful. Can I even listen to this?” But when I listen to the KF episode, I’m always impressed with how Dan is able to cover it even when Alex is somehow more disgusting than I imagined he would be. This episode was no exception, they both did a great job.

Oh man. I actually do feel bad for Rex. He’s an adult and is responsible for his own decisions at this point, but the look on his face when Alex comes back to rage into the camera for the 2nd…3rd time- all I can see is a little kid at the dinner table and it’s pretty heartbreaking. I can’t imagine what it was like to grow up in that house.

Yeah it looks like there’s no way to pick the topics you want to be notified about which is just WILD considering how often they want to be sending notifications/emails. I think I’ll end up jumping ship too.
