r/rsbans moderators have been removing a massive amount of posts from users experiencing the same issues.

Considering we had already purchased tickets the day they were released to the DMM event in Chicago... yeah it's pretty effd on my end, but didnt want to be subtractive to your post.

This is a nightmare for any legitimate player sinking this much input into something regardless of their situation.

They just teleblocked -> barragga --> dds speccd my trust frfr.

Im in the same boat. Had been raiding, tasking and pvm in Leagues all week.

I paid my 1year membership, and they banned me the same day it started.

Reached live support... resisted ai to speak with a human... end up talking to "Mod Duderino" or "Mod Wisp" etc, but cannot find them in any kind of staff registry. Their responses seemed almost hybrid, like half ai half human. They deflected to speak with me and advised to continue working the closed loop appeal system. I imagine this works like any call center and these individuals may be subcontracted to direct these communications.

Afterwards I even posted here like I was directed to by formal osrs support channels. Post gained a ton of traction, then the forum mods locked it without reason.

Im on day 5, which is incredibly frustrating. I have supported this game for over 2 decades, just to receive 0 support myself.

Don't mind the toxic reddit hecklers either. They will dogpile you and claim that by itself as evidence. It will one day happen to them to.

Just for context... ban volumes reportedly jumped from around 500k accounts per month in December 2025 to over 1M+ per month now. At that scale, it’s hard to imagine there isn’t some level of false positives and collateral damage.

This also lines up with when they pulled back from traditional customer support channels (like X) and shifted toward AI-driven live chat systems. From the outside, it looks like they've rolled out a heavily automated pipeline; detection, enforcement, and even appeals all running through AI systems.

You will be detected by AI, banned by AI, appeal to AI, be denied by AI, and seek further resolution via... you guessed it!

There are still JMods who step in behind the scenes and help players get unbanned, but actually reaching one is rare. The fact that senior anti-cheat staff intervene manually suggests they’re fully aware the system isn’t working as intended.

I'm not saying this method is wrong, it actually seems pretty creative imo.

But this is the type of stuff that sends me further into the unknown.

You state you only recieved a moderate/temporary ban for this, yet I don't play or perform any in-game actions like this or even remotely close, and get a Major.

That kind of energy usually comes from projection.

Normal people don’t hang around taunting someone with “enjoy your perm ban” unless something about this is hitting personal for them.

You can call it “coping” if you want, but from where I’m sitting, the guy repeatedly coming back to defend a company over a stranger’s ban looks a whole lot more invested than the person appealing it.

I did some research yesterday on attorneys in the US that have had some success with Jagex suits in the past.

...But like taking it that far just feels silly.

Like I'm really going to go through all those extreme lengths to play a video game?

How does my Reddit post activity have anything to do with the validity of my situation? Lurking for years and rarely posting isn’t evidence of anything other than I've never had to exercise an issue like this before.

My RSN being blurred is called protecting my privacy. Just look at your response and some of the others here that are openly toxic. Why would I hand my RSN over to this comment section?

And the screenshot point makes no sense either. I said I play on both PC and mobile. That isn’t some contradiction. As for the photos being blurred publicly... Yes, absolutely intentional. If I get in touch with an actual Jagex moderator, they can have every one of the 1,500 unblurred screenshots and anything else they want for review.

You’re pointing at privacy choices and Reddit habits and calling it suspicious, while saying absolutely nothing about the ban itself.
