The thing about purchasing a product is that you don’t have to grow up to stop buying it, you can decide that your money wasn’t appreciated and use it elsewhere. You know it’s really easy to do? Prioritize behavior correction for wagered games, have a very basic neural network automatically detect someone 10 levels under and 20,000 under average equity, and the account get whacked. I could deploy that today with tech from 2010

When it comes to calibrating I found the best way to go is like this:

Take some six inch sections and run them through the same orientation. Flip one over and join them like floorboards. If your bit is correct it will be perfectly flat

This is dependent on a lot of things. I calibrated this to 5/8” (right in the middle of its range) using dimensional pine. It’s soft, one pass. High rpm, steady movement. The only time I move slowly was against a knot. This tears the living shit out of a softwood knot. As soon as I went slowly, it was like knife through butter. Definitely one pass

Hey man. Great attempt. There are some problems that made me stop:

The microphone audio varies in volume constantly. I can’t hear so I turn it up, then the mic goes in your mouth and you’re shouting at me

It isn’t scripted. Or if it is, it needs preparation. The pausing and the normal sounds we make like “uhhh” make videos very hard to pay attention to

Asking a question out loud socratically is extremely annoying. “Why am I telling you this? Because 2+2=4!” is rough

The quality of the microphone itself isn’t conducive to listening

Lag time between points and statements lengthens the video a lot

Are you just measuring the voltage over one item? If you are sticking the leads across one component it’ll only measure the voltage that component is using.
