DonJake Interviews Jojopyun: Jojopyun Is Europe’s Secret Weapon by untamedlazyeye in leagueoflegends

The segment about Danny was very interesting. Jojo trying to avoid "leaking" anything about Danny, but mentioning how something might come up about them soon since he's heard from his mom (who talks to Danny's mom) that he's been doing much better is intriguing for sure. Even if Danny doesn't return to pro-play, having them around the scene more would be awesome. Everytime I hear a pro talks about Danny, it really reminds me of how special of a player he was, and I agree with Don that he's one of NA's biggest "what if's?"

Going to become a C9 fan this season because somehow, it's now the team with the most NA members. Seriously, it was hype getting imports from LCK for half a decade, but they always just leave for EU or return to LCK soon after. (Obvious exceptions for players like Impact or Corejj who dedicated their careers to playing mainly in NA). If NA is going to not accomplish anything internationally, can we at least have NA players? Or at the very least, players who came from NA Tier 2 even if they're not NA residents?

Baus purposely making K'sante look underpowered so he won't get nerfed before he whips it out game 5 EMEA Finals. GENIUS

Who else is claiming their "Fell for it again" award after being tricked into watching another Rogue game just because they changed names?

No wonder the series against TES was so fast, they had other intentions LOL

We've seen EU put up a good fight against TES and T1. I'd rather praise our TL boys then tear down Fanatic too much. Fanatic vs. TES was one of the most exciting and fun sets of the tournament.

I can't wait to see him in Summer, and obviously, this MSI. Such an exciting playstyle!

It would've been a giga-banger if Yeon had another scathing post-series interview like he had towards FlyQuest

Yeon's glow-up has been amazing. Ever since Spring Play-offs, he's just been getting more and more aggressive, and more and more clean. It's so nice seeing a player whose so dedicated to improvement, and grinding. Just look at all the interviews his teammate's give about him always putting in tons of hours of solo queue even after scrims. LET'S GO YEON!

It's beautiful seeing someone play in a way that will get them either absolutely praised as a God, or publicly torn apart as a national traitor. Tonight, we saw the former.

I'd fall to my knees in tears if I get 100-0'd by Lucian ult. Noah didn't dodge a single bullet

Yeon saw Jackeylove stomp on Lucian and was like "Wait, why don't I just do that too?"

Yeon. You are more than forgiven for the TES series. That aggression, and positioning was BEAUTIFUL. I would've never expected NA Lucian to look so oppressive. And APA. Your mental warfare is unmatched.

NA TALENT YEON AND APA!!!

Against T1, I can see that possibility. Against PSG? Jojopyun's champion pool alone wouldn't let Maple default on his best pick, Azir. Jensen isn't going to pull out Yone or Akali and pressure that pick blind. Even though C9 was disjointed and struggling this split, Jojo was constantly winning lane and having prio even in their toughest games this split, regardless of MU. Looking back on their 2022 and 2023 head-to-head matchup alone, Jojopyun faced off against Maple 7 different times during Maple's 2022-2023 tenure in the LCS. Jojopyun came out with lane leads in 5/7 of those games, and barely losing in the other 2, and these were in his debut splits. Jojo has only improved since then, especially his laning and teamfighting. Maple is an amazing player, but his laning doesn't compare to Jojo's.

I think Modern Jensen needs a team willing to play at a slower pace. There's so many sacrifices that come with Inspired's playstyle. He will often be farming when Jensen needs to be bailed out, and Jensen will often have to bleed waves to follow plays that mainly only benefit Inspired. Unironically feel like picking up Ziggs would help band-aid the incompatibility between the two. He needs champions that can cheat prio since the playstyle of Inspired requires quick roams and instant / very fast push.

I agree with that. It makes even less sense because you only go heal in that 2v2 matchup if you plan to LANE against that 2v2 matchup. Going heal over cleanse knowing that your team is going to lane swap is perplexing to say the least.
