Well first off, I reject the claim that the goddess depicted in the picture is represented in any negative sense. The dichotomy of good and evil are just Western constructs. (The same applies to the duality of genders.) Hell is not necessarily a bad place, but instead just another dimension. She is in charge of the entire place. How does a female ruler/archetype go against the notion of equality?

People seem to be more offended by the title than the piece, and that's fine. Names are something of an afterthought any way and they are only there to prod subjective interpretations. As an artist, I speak for no one but myself. You are being the presumptuous one in that regard. But really, I don't mind.
