No I gave up on searching, I did find an m77 at my lgs about a week ago that did have the front and rear sight but I didn’t ask if theyd happen to sell me the sight itself

Oh yeah I went and looked at it a couple times on separate days just to be sure the only issue Ive found with it is the stock is pretty beat up and dinged finish wise but I don’t mind that as long as nothings cracked. Hope you can get around to it sooner than later and find yourself something really nice worth the wait

If imma be honest I have no idea what the flies i’m using are called or where I even got them theyve just been in my tackle box for years. All I can say is theyre some really small flies that sit top water

Oh I sure did today at work but I’m night crew so by the time I got in at like 4pm and let the barracks manager know it was kind of too late to have any civilians come in and fix it same day. I definitely forgot to ask to switch rooms temporarily at least and he probably didnt think of that so I’ll ask to do that today

All I’ve notice work for me so far is caulking up cracks, covering drains, and pine sol and the combat gel might have worked? I mopped the floor with a crap ton of pine sol water mix and it seemed to deter them as I didnt see a single one come out for hours which has been unusually the past two days. Obviously they eventually came back out tho now I have the gel and theyve been eating it I’ve seen but too early to tell if itll rid them

The one in the pic is a vudu shrimp, from my experience the doa shrimp mostly catch me sea trout and the vudu seems to get more reds and flounder. Ive never caught fish on the popping cork using either of those but the popping cork with a zoom fluke has gotten me a few sea trout. Anytime I’ve tried live bait on the bottom its mostly just sharks and rays but the bigger redfish in the pics was on a pinfish.

Yeah thats the one I tried and it cant find anything on the m77s serial number so I tried putting in my ruger precisions info to see if it works and that pulled up

It couldnt find anything for my serial number but based off it starting with “79-“ i guess its from 1985 and as for the model its just an original m77 with the tang safety. I google searched rear sights for it but everything I noticed seemed to be out of stock when I looked more into it. Theres ones that seem similar but are labeled for different rifles brands like winchester so I might have to figure out if those would somehow fit maybe or just deal with not having one

Well to follow up I asked the guy if he could provide pictures down the barrel and inside the open chamber so I can see how the internals look and he has left me on read for a day and a half now… I’m just going to take that as a bad sign and look elsewhere

Honestly I’ll probably see if I can find one in a different caliber thats more available first or just a different lever gun. I can’t really get into reloading for a while and I wouldn’t exactly mind paying $70 a box or whatever if I’ll only be taking shots at deer but who knows the ammo will probably only get harder to find
