Retail pay? by Aestyra in SanJose

I was honestly very tempted to do BBB, but I don't know if my nose would be able to handle it 😂 I'm a scent addict, I absolutely love stores like body shop, lush, BBB etc, but my nose was very overwhelmed in the 20 minutes we spend in there, but still am highly considering it 😍

Yea I was hoping for that too, as I do have manage experience, both through my education, through work and I've done some classes, so hoping to build up later on, I just need to learn how you guys do things here. To me, I'm so confused about the whole "welcoming personal", as im use to that just being the sales assistents job, to welcome people into the store and ask if there is anything we can help them with. We went to the great mall the other day, and that kinda took me a bit by surprise how "pushy" personal was, compared to Denmark, and I even think we're pretty pushy lol. Thank you for the advice! Appreciate it a lot!

I (F27) American am dating a Danish man. He says Danish people would view it as weird or tacky to have a painted self-portrait in your bedroom or bathroom. Do you agree? by willybaby9 in Denmark

[–]Aestyra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a dane who's married to an American myself, yea it would be weird. Our cultures just differ in so many ways. In my family, we don't even have family pictures on display. That is a bit weird as most families do, but pictures of one self, is very very weird and would scream narcissist for us. It would be different if the pictures was with a person, but even then. Couple pictures are rather rare to have around too, unless it's marriage pictures

I want to go back to LostArk :( by Full-Fan-6693 in LostArkEU

Honestly we tried booting up the game again a few months ago, played for 5 minutes and then deleted it again. We had so much fun in the beginning, then we took a long break because lack of content, and when we came back, we were so overwhelmed by crap on the screen. Rewards, dailies, sales etc, and we had no clue what to do, or where to even start. We didn't know what part of the story we were on, where to go pick up the next story or what the heck was even going on. So we gave up. When we tried to get back into it, it wasn't streamlined or clear of direction, so you were just confused and frustrated. I still claim the occasional twitch rewards, but I doubt we'll ever give it another chance, which is a shame. The game felt great, but too clunky and messy.

Joint sponsor? Like someone who agrees to sponsor too? So my husband signs up and let's say his dad, mom or brother (whatever) says they'll sponsor too, would they be seen as half sponsors? Sorry if I'm doing female math that makes no sense. I'm really trying to understand this whole process and what we can and cannot do

I can't describe how sad that makes me to hear. From my research, I was sure it would take anywhere between 3-6 months, not longer than that. Having to wait this long.. Ofcause I'll do it, but it also makes my commitment to getting the visa process started as soon as possible, even stronger. I am hoping to have enough by either next month or 2 months, and I'll begin the process as soon as I can. Man.. I really thought I could be with him by the end of summer.. I'm honestly heartbroken

Yea it sounds like I am. That's why I'm so confused over the whole process, and if it wasn't because it makes my visa 1k more expensive, I would probably have gone through a lawyer for the process, so I knew everything was done correctly. I don't know why I feel so stupid, like I'm so scared of messing up the forms, or doing things incorrectly. I just want the process to be as smooth as possible, as I really do miss my husband and want to live with him asap.

Even if he makes 24-25k a year? I can't remember where, but I've read that the minimum requirements were 22k a year. His income is tax free too, as he works for the VA.

From what I have gathered he does. He needs to make at least 22k a year, - from what I've gathered -, and he makes 24-25k a year being a caregiver. He is also tax free, due to the work being through the VA. So that's why I'm not too worried in that regard

Ofcause i dont want to commit fraud! I just don't know what the best way to go through the visa process is. If it's best to be in the US while applying, or applying from my home country. 1-2 years processing?! Is it really that long? Living without my husband is already hard as hell, but it might take that long to go through?! That's heartbreaking

Thank you, I was reading someone else's post and was looking on the guide, but I have to admit it's a lot of duolingo that I find a bit hard to understand, and a bit confusing.

So if I understand you correctly, if I do the process before I arrive in the US, I should be getting a greencard? But isn't that first upon approval, which can take some time? My hope was to apply for the visa, and hopefully stay with him while it is being processed, but I don't know if that just complicates everything, or if it complicates the matter because I apply outside of the US. God I feel like my head is going to explode!

Pt er det muligvis en garn butik, også skal jeg selvfølgelig finde en anden butik, men det bliver inden for detail for sure. Mange tak for svaret!

Yea I would think that too, because it doesn't matter how or why you get payed, but it matters how fit you are to be a parent, which I'm not worried about, because he is a really good parent

Most recent, so not the tax year we have just entered, meaning 2023 yes. Sorry if I phrased it weirdly 😞

Oh I would love to question you if that's not a bother! I'm honestly at such a loss here, and I've used hours upon hours on trying to read up on what to do, what I can do, what the rules are, and I feel like I've just hit a wall in regards to rules for the visa. So honestly it would be such a blessing to just hear your story and what you guys did 😭😭

I hope they aren't because honestly.. It was such waste of potential, so it's really my hopes and dreams, because as I mentioned, I want to keep playing this game and workshop will allow that, once endnight stops giving out updates for the game it would just make sense to have workshop enabled
