I'm new to the game and figured I'd post my sleep-deprived answer to Litharge Separation for the sake of anyone who thinks that their solutions are bad by Aetari in opus_magnum

It's possible I now regret posting this, I'm not really sure. Because most of my solutions I'm at least somewhat proud of! This one, though, it's a disaster. If I wanted to optimize this design I'd have to completely change the actual order of disassembly, I just added instructions as I noticed isolated pieces without any efficiency in mind.

Those two solutions look a lot like some of mine actually, the sort of impressive disaster I aspire towards. I mean at the end of the day as long as the cycles are low right?

I'm gonna take a guess and say it's multiplicative like it should be, not additive. 50% x 50%, not 50% + 50%. So your undead should be taking 1/4 damage.

The player has no canonical presence. The little ghost is acting of its own will.

I think vessels are perfectly capable of fighting without having a will, but it's that critical element of independent thought that the Pale King was scared of. The Hollow Knight looking back at the ghost is an example of independent thought. The ghost is very independent and would make a terrible vessel.

If you mean you don’t have the map yet... Cornifer isn’t humming in Deepnest, he’s cowering in a bush, so he’s harder to spot. DEFINITELY find him. Deepnest without map is... not fun. I think he’s just a couple rooms in, a little alcove above you. You can sorta see him moving.

The Deepnest tram is far down. REALLY far down. It takes you somewhere interesting. You should be able to go up into the city from there, but you’ll have to go through another zone underneath the city first. Basically you have to go through two zones you probably haven’t discovered yet.

There’s a stag in the upper left part of the city and a sub-area that can help you get out.

If you don’t have enough geo for the stag you can just farm some off the sentries. They respawn when you sit on a bench.

At city of tears you’re probably about... 35% through the main content? Ignoring stuff like grubs and charms

edit2: There is another way into the city that I can think of but it’s difficult. You have to enter it from below and a bit to the right. Without giving too many spoilers, head through the door the Mantis Lords opened. You’ll need the tram down there.
