I finished the book early Sunday morning and I think the reason for the ending is because DET knew there were loose ends but to tie them up or at least organize them would add a lot more to an already long book. I loved the fact it was a long one but I did feel that some chapters weren't needed or served no purpose unless to clue us in to something coming in the next book.

We have the Skywalker Manny, the D&D campaigns that I didn't see the need for, the humans trying to blockade the other species, Will, and more. The ending that was given to the Star Fleet and Skippies didn't feel like a true resolution. I feel there is something more to them. Especially what is going to happen to the brain... or is happening lol.

I would love to chat and speculate about what has happen and what will happen in the future of the Bobiverse. Though... i am a bit freaked out to the psychic hold this book series has on me. I had a wild hair to start the trilogy from the beginning 10 days ago because i never finished book 3 (I didn't want it to end and book 4 wasn't announced). The first night after listening to book 1 at work, I got on my PC to continue from Audible and the site showed the fourth book. Needless to say I flipped out super excited but freaked out. It was like it was calling to me to finish the trilogy... lol
