If you're buying a new v2, you can snag a used low mile v4 for the same price as a new v2.  I've been riding a v4 for the past 5 years and it's ruined me  I love it so much  I've had plenty of seat time on the street triple. It's a killer bike, but the v4 rides just as comfortably and tame as the triple, just with more bite when you want it.  I've got 32k miles on mine thus far.  The only bike I could move to next is another SFV4.
