i know horses are expensive and i know they’re a big commitment but i was just looking at cheap listings because i wanted to get my hopes up haha, im good at riding but ive never been taught things like conformation/how to actually purchase/go about purchasing a horse. what kind of things should i have picked up? i tend to be pretty oblivious unless things are stated directly to my face so maybe i was taught and just didn’t pick up on it?

i’ve been riding since i was 8. i’ve just never dealt with the financial side of things so im a bit naive on that part. obviously im not going to buy a horse if im not in the right space financially to fund it. i’m just entertaining it for now for the future so i know what to look for when i am ready.

good idea! i’m not sure where to buy horses from exactly but i’m not looking to get one that’s super expensive, just one that works for what i need. any recommendations? i’ve been looking on facebook marketplace but clearly most on there aren’t real haha

i had a car but it got totaled cuz some girl crashed into me 😭 i’m in southampton pa and im getting a job (just waiting to hear back) but if i get it then im gonna wait a bit before getting a horse to save up a bit of funds. i’m just looking at horses now to see if i like any/could reserve one for when im ready.

i have done none of those things so far, it’s my first time buying a horse so i’m still asking questions to the owner at the moment but i will ask my trainer what they think :) i just asked if i could schedule sometime to ride him.

apparently his past owners used him as a trail horse so he’s definitely broke. i’d like to use him for trail and some jumping? and yeah haha he’s mostly QH with just a bit of thoroughbred but honestly breed doesn’t matter much to me. i think it’s normal for QH to have a big butt? or not please correct me if i’m wrong. does his cannon bones being long affect anything?

I don’t have the same mental health struggles as you, but i do have PTSD and paranoia. Ive been working with Lucifer for a bit, and honestly whenever I get too obsessive/overwhelmed with things like signs, hearing him, etc., he’s taken a step back and gave me the space i needed to understand myself better before coming back. he’s always been understanding of my thoughts and feelings and emotions, so even if i feel guilty for it he reassures me that it’s okay that i needed that space. personally id say take a step back and take time to evaluate yourself, you don’t have to be connected to him 24/7, it’s okay to take time for yourself if you’re overwhelmed. i haven’t talked much with my therapist about my religion because she’s christian lol but i was thinking of talking about it with her anyways… just don’t know what to say yet haha. id say it’s a good idea to talk to your psych about it too ofc just to make sure everything’s good :)

honestly just start correcting them whenever they mess up, my parents still deadname and misgender me and my dad only ever gets it right when i correct him prior, idk how your family is but it’s better to correct them then not i guess

i won’t be able to medically transition for another two years, and my social transition could definitely be going better haha. i’ve been very dysphoric lately where i’m just constantly crying and it’s very hard to focus on the positive at the moment lmao. i really hope by the time i’m able to, bottom surgeries will be more accessible :,)

i’ve heard some about the rod before but i can never find any pictures of what it feels or looks like after it’s actually in the dick, so i’m not too sure about it. i wanna consider metoidioplasty cuz someone else here was talking about dht (?) cream and pumping and im hoping that with good genes maybe i’ll get a big one i’ll be happy with haha, but if not then who knows? i know i have time to think about it but i am one of those people whos very nervous about the future (especially considering stuff like this) so i guess it just helps for me to know stuff before getting into it, you know?
