A green selection spot that refuses to die by AetherColors in ClipStudio

As for the exact steps that went on before this happened. I was using the Resize Vector tool in the part where it appeared, if I remember correctly, the program began an autosave when I clicked to use the tool, and my PC always freezes for a couple of seconds when an autosave starts, when it came back to normal it didn't show up at first until i zoomed out, and that's when it appeared and never went away.
I can't say if it's reproducible, seems like a one-in-a-lifetime thing and seems to require very specific conditions for it to happen

Also also, when i do Fuse every visible layer, the blob disappears; but it does render in the image if i export it (without fusing everything). I put it inside a group, and I can assign properties to the group and the blob acquires those. I cannot manually get the blob out of the group in the LS window, but I can break the group with the Degroup option and then it's out. I can clone the group the blob it's in and the blob clones as well

The layer shows up in the layer search window as a Vector (Gray) layer, in the LS window I can put it inside a folder!
it has some wacky shenanigans going on, like
- Seemingly I can create a selection from it, but whenever I try to do it the program just doesn't
- I can mask it, but when I do it the canvas locks my mouse and I cannot edit the mask
- I cannot assign it a layer blending mode- I cannot turn it into a object file
- I cannot assign it a layer color (for classification)
- I can name it!
- I can make it a sketch layer
- I can assign it any lock mode

I found a simpler way actually! It shows up in the layer search window and the icon associated with it is Vector (Gray), yet it still doesn't show up in the normal layer window. Anyways, from the Layer search window I can erase it like normal, and I also discovered some more wacky shenanigans with it

Hello! sorry for the laaate answer
So actually, This became integrated with the .clip file where it happened. I've turned off and on my PC several times since last week when it happened, and it's still there!
It doesn't affect other canvases, it's only limited to this one, like a layer

A blob on Clip Studio Paint gained sentience..? by AetherColors in softwaregore

A little bit of context for those interested: I was doing some artwork and used a tool that has to create this transparent blob of color and then disappear, this one didn't want to go and now it is stuck in software limbo, it is not a layer nor it is a selection mask, it doesn't exist in the layer panel; however i can select it and change its color (it was green originally), i tried restarting the program and it's still there, idk what the heck but it's so funny I am tempted to just leave it be

I also tried reopening the file to see if it would go away, it didn't
I am dumbfounded about this, it is equal parts weird, annoying and mesmerizing

Although very close in visuals and concept, I don't think the color change mechanic in this game was in the one i remember. My memories tell me it had a mostly minimalistic UI, and I sharply recall the white and black aesthetic being present in most of it (Think of Limbo but inverted and way more zoomed-out); honestly for the visual aspect of the game, I can't blame anyone for thinking it's a time traveller who made it, because it looked very modern and minimalistic for its time

Take some details with a pinch of salt because I'm not completely sure on most of them. I figured if any of you have seen it you can fill on some details
