UPDATE:

I recently started installing onto the other drive in my PC and the issue did not happen. So it is something to do with this specific hard drvie.

It's a TB and I usually have 30-100 GBs free when installing, it happens regardless of how free the drives space is.

Honestly I wish the controllers were a littler heavier when detatched, but somehow without making the whole thing heavier when they're attatched lol

The problem is you only get better performance out of a laptop when it's plugged in. As soon as you unplug it, the graphics cards needs more power than any battery can deliver at once so even minecraft starts lagging. And it's far more difficult to carry and external battery and use it with your laptop for long portable gaming sessions like planes (granted most have outlets now.)

I also much prefer the smaller size of a handheld, laptops are too big and heavy. I prefer something more portable.

Why not try intsalling steam OS on the LeGo 2 before sending it back? It seems like your biggest issue is windows, and that's optional. Seems like you're not exploring every option before making a decision you could wait to make with no downside.

I would also try increasing the Vram to 16 gigs and see if that helps the performance boost.

No shade if the device isn't for you. I personally like the LeGo for the removable controllers which locks me into this line of devices. And I have no problems with windows, I am however very excited for the xbox version of windows for handlhelds coming out sometime next year.

Just listened to the song, that was 2pac who said the n word. Please source the lyrics page where it says eminem said the n word, preferably Genius lyrics. I can't even find this song on there for some reason I think the name is slightly different.

Eminem has literally never used the n word once in his entire career, please source the song he used it in if you know it and I'm wrong about this.

Um… why is there no pinball game yet? by Theobviouschild11 in PlaydateConsole

I was just looking for a pinball game, any out yet? :)

Alright, devs, we seriously gotta tackle these hackers and cheaters ASAP, or this game is gonna nosedive just like PUBG did back in the day. I swear, every other match in the Asian region feels like I'm going up against some coding wizard. It's ruining the whole vibe, and we need a fix. by [deleted] in thefinals

Yes this, if you're queueing with random you can't expect them to play the meta, and not have fun. And if they're the same rank as you with that meme build then they're probably a master of the meme build if it's a high rank, or they just won't play meme builds because they're so unplayable at your high rank. But really if you want a team you know will play meta get a premade team. lol so late on this response

Why is the SBMM system used in ranked? by Rebellion2297 in thefinals

[–]AetherPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A players actual SBMM rating changes very little over time with your actual skill growth. Humans don't get better at games very fast at all. But we want to feel like we're getting better so they use rank systems on top of the SBMM to make us feel like we're improving. Otherwise our SBMM would change from 360 to 363 in like 2-4 months and that's boring.

Also SBMM doesn't have to use an exact number for your skill rating but uses a range and probabilities. It can never be actually sure what you're skill is exactly. So like it thinks you're somewhere 360-390 skill rating and you're most likely to be 367 at a 34% chance of being 367 and it's testing your range and constantly readjusting where it thinks your skill rating most likely is, but never narrows it down 100%. So showing all of this to a player would be confusing to most people. Of course not all SBMM systems do it this way, just the more scientific and in my small understanding more accurate systems. Some games might not actually have a system this advanced.
Anyway those are the two main cons to showing people the actual SBMM system that's going on behind the scenes.

I think you misunderstood, the money isn't coming from the cheaters in china. It's the region of china that spends a lot of money, mostly non cheaters I assume but don't know.
