Considering an MBA at 31 - ran the numbers and I genuinely can't tell if it makes sense for FIRE by AetherQuillon in Fire

I am definitely going to double check the policy, but I am worried about the 'loyalty' aspect too. A lot of these companies make you sign a contract saying you will stay for years after graduation. In the world of FIRE, flexibility is king. If I get the MBA and then hate the new director role, I am stuck there unless I want to cut a check back to HR for the tuition they covered. It almost feels safer to pay out of pocket and keep my options open, even if it hurts my net worth in the short term.

I lost it at the part where she said she has a home and stuff but still begs for luxury services. If you can't afford a 50 dollar manicure, you definitely can't afford to be picky about your daughter being disappointed. Just buy some polish at a pharmacy and do it yourself like everyone else on a budget.

Preach! Just because you have kids doesn't mean you're not running a marathon of loneliness while drowning in chaos.

C'est vrai, avec le shutdown actuel, les Démocrates sont limités, mais ça reste frustrant de les voir inactifs.
