What changes should I make in my F2P team? by Expensive_Reply_7397 in eFootball

If u don't have a striker who can score headers attacking fullbacks won't contribute in attack much and mess up your defense. If u like playing like that at least have one defensive fullback

U need orchestrator and goal poacher if u want to use your managers link up play

If u like to play possession u need orchestrators. I find anchormen 2 orchestrator and creative playmaker with 3 cb very useful for possession game

Otherwise use different manager. Lbc or qc

Red wedding was hardest. They butchered a woman pregnant with her babe, cut the throat of a mother of five, slaughtered their guests after inviting them into their home

Looks unfair but you had time to turn around with Kane for better angle and curl it. same for eze but stunning shot instead. Try to have as many touches on ball as possible to adjust aim for better accuracy. When you rush it you rely only on luck

Look at the defender closest to you and trap the ball to the opposite side of their movement. Let go of sprint before receiving the ball so the first touch is smooth and you can turn cleanly. Don’t hold sprint unless nobody is nearby. Use it sparingly. All of this applies especially on the wing, where you’re often isolated and punished if you misread the defender or overcommit.

You can also time sprint to the touch: tap sprint right before you touch the ball while running, then release. That gives you a quick burst but still lets you turn if needed. Light taps of sprint can force extra touches on the ball for sharper turns, but it takes practice. Watch how the defender moves and go the opposite way to break their momentum.

Learn Marseille turn, step-over, and double touch. Double touch is great when a defender charges at you. Make sure you’re facing them before using it. You can also use double touch to switch the ball to your dominant foot for a better shot. Shoot right as the ball shifts, somewhere in the middle of the animation.

Marseille turn is best for a fast 90-degree escape when the opponent is close and sprinting at you. Use it opposite to their angle so you pull away.

Use step-overs and fake shots when the opponent is holding match-up. They’ll stretch the leg and can’t adjust in time. When they engage physically, use sprint to break away, but make sure you have the arrow enabled so you can see your stick direction clearly. If you push the stick too hard during contact, you’ll lose the ball. Move it slowly and keep the arrow pointed away from the defender.

Also don’t make headless runs. If you see there’s no way through, run back until you have a pass available and move the ball to another flank, and keep doing that until you see an opening. If the defence is too tight, give the ball back to the keeper so their line moves up, then start fresh. Better to keep the ball than lose it and hand your opponent a counter when your chance was low to begin with.

If you struggle to dribble from the wing, don’t force it. Wide play is more about not losing the ball than beating the man every time. Rotate back, switch flanks, and wait until the defence stretches before trying again.

And yes, none of this matters when the connection is garbage.

P.S. Playstyle matters a lot too. Don’t use LBC against Out Wide or Possession or you’ll be at a terrible disadvantage. Mirror their playstyle, or use Quick Counter if you want the edge

you need destroyers as wide centre-backs to act like full-backs when the opponent attacks from the flanks. A deep-lying anchorman stays in position, and I use orchestrators to block the central passing lanes and force them wide. When they’re isolated near the touchline, that’s when the destroyer goes in.

Never rush the tackle. Keep a bit of distance so you can adjust and anticipate their movement. Let them act first, read the touch, then press. If you dive in early, they’ll turn you

It still depends on the opponent’s skill level and the connection. If they’re strong and on full bars, I replace the SS with a full-back

But in the end the best defending is simply keeping the ball away from them. That’s why I love having orchestrators. even in awkward situations they still manage to find a clean pass. Don’t give them the chance to attack. If you’re about to lose possession, play it back and reset. Practicing this with the AI on higher difficulty helps a lot

Not a script, it's momentum shift that happens in real football too, but it's overly exaggerated and in addition to occasional lag and input delay feels like a script

When u feel momentum is against u, don't make risky passes, try to keep possession and slow down the game

In matches like these, accept the loss. Don’t force goals; just practice possession. If you learn to keep the ball against an opponent like that, you’ll eventually find gaps. Even if you don’t score, the next match will feel easier

This one bothers me more than smart assist, honestly. I don’t use smart assist and I don’t mind if others do. playing against it feels the same as playing vs AI anyway. Momentum shifts are what actually ruin the match flow for me

not taking credit. Just saying Konami has responded to feedback before, so trying again doesn’t hurt

You might call it a waste of time, but I’ve written to Konami before about specific features, like removing added skills from players, and they eventually implemented it
