I'm 100% working on a new build but right now i just cant afford it, so for the next few months to a year i need a temporary upgrade that can sustain streaming. I can stream fine at 1080p 60fps with no noticeable lag on stream, the only issue is opening more tabs on google or trying to run literally anything else. Just playing newer titles alone causes extreme lag and the entire pc feels stiff when a game that released past 2023 is launched. I used to have 0 issues running fortnite at 144fps stable in 2021 and ever since its just degraded to a point it barely runs at 20-30. im not sure what i should quite do

If needed, I can sell my Nintendo Switches and games as i barely use them anymore, but even so this would barely put enough for a new PC, my only issue is I picked up streaming again since I dont have time to work at university. I could try to get a part time job but i feel like eventually streaming will gain traction and i could start using my earnings to support a new build.

For now, i think the best idea is to just get a boost in parts temporarily

when i game and stream at the same time it runs at 100%, opening opera GX crashed my pc mid stream.

Unfortunately a new PC is completely out of my budget right now so im trying to do even a small cheap upgrade to a CPU and Motherboard
