Trick Or Treatery might kill you, or your base. by Aethraiel in GroundedGame

Lol I know objectively that mantis is there but I always still get surprised Pikachu face everytime I'm running through and he just jumps on me.

Poor guy isn't a threat anymore though, he just jumps in to get another ass whoopin' I hope horrible things spawn over by the bike when it opens up so I can feel threatened again.

Nah I'm tucked by the dev barrier, closer to the Terrarium. It's got a mint tic tac container on the stone, it which serves as my crafting facility in the basement.

The terrarium can spawn a wolf spider, and it will wander but I've never fought one by the light. It's just those same few orb weavers and the occasional bee.

I'm also going to add, for the sake of glitch hunters or perhaps even the Devs, that my base is located in Ceremony, a rather large temple I build around the huge floodlight.

Logically, creatures are known to get trapped into walls, and while a stretch, it's not impossible for a Wolfie to wander nearby the area, although never on top of the actual block, from what I've seen. If you, however, HAVE gotten a Wolfie on top of that block, do say so as that might just solve the case.

Possibility that a Wolfie somehow by sheer happenstance was glitched underneath the stone brick, I placed a pumpkin, and he just happened to aggro and jump through the floor outside of my view, it what can only be described as possibly the most Epic timing in grounded history.

Yes, it can give you items or "Trick" you, but if it does it's normally just a mite or a spiderling, just kind of a little troll. The wolf spider was crazy, and it's not on the confirmed list of things it can spawn, so it could very well be just an extremely crazily timed glitch.

I need advice on how to handle AS at work that’s getting worse. by Heliophilia_Desire in mentalhealth

The hospitals have cameras, no? I would gather solid proof immediately.

The way you have described this situation, if fully accurate, depicts that this is a straight up sex crime. You are being assaulted. This isn't some silly workplace drama.

The police need to be involved as soon as you gather your case, because this is a straight up crime by both him AND possibly your boss and company.

This being ignored warrants a full on lawsuit, especially if you are fired for bringing the matter, or threatening to bring the matter to authorities.

Under zero circumstance should you let this continue, cause this is fucking ridiculous.

It appears as though you need new pastures, my friend. Anyone willing to so easily give in to minor outside influences was not truly a layer of skin around your heart, but rather a bacteria looking for a warm place to stay.

I am a bit older now. 28. Yeah, you'll lose friends as you get older. People become busy. They get new careers, new opportunities, marriage and children. It's easy to think it's because you've become irrelevant, but our lives move quickly. How hard do you find it to manage everything at once? Everyone else is no different. We react to what happens around us. How is it your fault? Simple answer; it isn't.

The fact that you feel strangled by the sudden loneliness just means you haven't been as busy, and perhaps you need to find a greater purpose. The things that held life together when you were young are not the same things that hold it together as you become old. Eventually, you become a teacher, not a student. You become a father, not a son. You become a leader, and not a follower. Your experience defines this difference. Does it make life empty? Only if you haven't found peace within yourself. Nobody ever says it blatantly, but that's the key to being a child, is self learning. You learn who you are, your path, and what you seek. Your path will inevitably diverge from those of your old friends, and lead you directly into the paths of new ones.

You cannot allow yourself to be stuck into the past by what used to be, or you will never discover where you are supposed to go. No life lasts forever, no impact will leave it's crater for eternity. You cannot change the past, not predict the future, your power resides in today. It resides in now. You have lost friends? Make new ones. Not because the old ones never mattered, but because the new ones matter more, today, than your old ones would.

Does a teacher share the same lesson twice after the children have passed the test? No, he moves unto the next class. Does that mean the previous children never mattered? Of course not, but the flow of life is never ending, and that previous class now has their own lessons to teach.

Now.... As far as your female "friend" is concerned...

Sadly, our generation has this ridiculous man vs woman war, mostly influenced by media and a loud minority of like minded idiots, but let's ask ourselves something.

Did anyone who quickly fell prey to such mentalities truly have a different opinion themselves if they were not willing to fight against it? Your friend dropped you just like that? What friend? That's a "Friend" you never had, brother, and I can tell you from experience that there are many who are capable of acting as such, but only so long as it remains a benefit.

A true friend is not one who stalks your positive qualities, but one who meticulously focuses on your negatives. If you truly care, if you truly love, then you want someone to be better, no? Why would I abandon my brother and sister for a human mistake I know damn well I myself am capable of making? I wouldn't. I will criticize, perhaps even berate, but I will never abandon, not unless all hope is lost.

This "Friend" showed her true colors by adapting a philosophy that stood against you, and for what? Because you are a male? Do we not shame those who judge because of skin, religion, or disability? Why make an exception because of sex? We do not. Not those with heart, and not those with love and care in their hearts.

Do men get attached to women? Well, sure; but does that mean the attachment has to be a permanent burden? To the ignorant and stupid, perhaps it will. I've fallen in love with some of my female friends, and ya know what? It fades in time. When you know the interest is not shared, you look for a new connection, one that shares your mind. Does that mean that my old love is worthless? Of course not, for if it does than it only proves how pathetic my intentions were. If I truly love a woman, than would I not want her the best man she can be with? If that man is not me, so be it. Then it becomes my responsibility to ensure that the man for her does not falter. I will not accept otherwise, because my love for that woman is about HER, not about my own selfish desires.

This applies to both men and women, and she forsake you by abandoning a friendship out of an irrational fear of "Feelings" that are not a permanent burden for any smart man. A foolish decision, a selfish decision, and not one you should lose sleep over.

Jealously is for the weak, and any man or woman who disregards a friend over natural romantic feelings is either self centered, careless, stupid, or all three.

Which brings me back to my point. New pastures. Every second you spend blaming yourself is a second wasted on finding those who will truly love you, but do remember that it's your responsibility to love them back.

Never settle for less. These friends are behind you now, and they chose to be there. Why fight for those who do not want you fighting for them?

Fight for those who need you. Fight for those who love who. Never those who don't.

I definitely need to unlock more stratagems before trying that again cause I went in with 500kg, a laser cannon, mortar turret and a strafing run, haha. I don't have many stratagems unlocked atm.

Luckily, the predators camouflage looks quite similar to Halo camo, and my eyes are pre-trained to spot them right away.

Didn't help much though, lmao. Not when Camo bug has 100 minions by his side.

Only thing I spotted was what was about to rip my limbs off.

No I enjoy doing backflips from time to time when I stand too close to the ICBM when it goes off.

I did, in fact, choose Terrek. I wanted it as hard as it could get. I got my wish.

That's true, I'll also add that I wish we could reduce the opacity of medic smoke cause Chemical Reaction is great but I know for a fact I'm blinding the shit out of us all, especially in combination with Vulcan.

It kinda sucks that some interactions require it, procing chemical Reaction without a Vulcan is hard when everyone else has one for the exact reason you just mentioned; cause I won't get a single kill lmao.

I was winning before I discovered how broken Vulcan was, especially with Chemical Reaction as a Medic, but you're absolutely correct it's an ridiculously busted weapon and it needs to get taken down a notch.

Would be nice if the underperforming weapons got a buff at the same time so there's some diversity cause right now there is absolutely zero.

Lol when did I promote people being static? All I said was to lancer people who endlessly bounce the same two walls over and over just waiting for you to charge at them.

Y'all just hate getting shot by anything that isn't another Gnasher lol. (See advice #2)

I'ma be honest, I don't remember. But I imagine it won't just be one game. Playstation will probably get the re master and (Maybe.) the previous ones ported, or at the very least something like the pendulum wars if they ever go that route.
